Subject:- Evaluate the company objectives for General Motors, The Home Depot, YUM! Brands, and Avon. Discuss whether or not the objectives are measurable and achievable.

General Motors objectives: 1. Identify and implement ways to conserve on electrical usage and on gas usage. This goal is achievable. 2. Develop strong team work and effective leadership skills of staff through on-the-job training, regular staff meetings and one-on-one mentoring. This goal is achievable. 3. Work with city officials to gain better illumination on the main road. This goal is achievable.
The Home Depot objectives: 1. The company needs to introduce distinctive and innovative new products. This goal is achievable. 2. The firm focuses on expanding their products into multiple geographic locations at the same point in their value chain, while simultaneously increasing the range of products and services offered to current markets. 3. To take care of its investors by trying to earn them the greatest return on their investment possible. This goal is achievable. 4. To sell building supplies to contractors creating new properties and home owners that were looking to increase their property values. This goal is achievable.
YUM! Brands objectives: 1. To attract and retain highly qualified employees through competitive compensation and benefit programs, to reward employees for personal contributions that grow the business and to maximize shareholder returns through pay programs. This goal is achievable. 2. The company targets base salary at the 50th percentile for executives in a survey group of companies. This goal is measurable and achievable. 3. Drive industry-leading, long-term shareholder and franchisee value. This goal is achievable. 4. Drive aggressive international expansion and build strong brands everywhere. This goal is achievable.
