“Education begins at home, and I applaud the parents who recognize that they not someone else – must take responsibility to assume that their children are well educated,” – Ernest Istook

Hackathons, projects and internships especially have been the most interesting, because it has allowed me to create and design applications and games practically and see the work of creation in use. Today, as I look back, I see myself not as a topper in class. But my resume shows that I have been there and experienced whatever life has to teach. It is this same experience I hope to continue through during my time at ____________________________

In examining “An Education in Equality,” “Learning Begins at Home,” “A Military Education,” and Education on a whole, one thing is evident and a common denominator, that is, education is born at home. In fact, research has indicated that parental education is indeed an important and significant unique predictor of a child’s achievement. As a parent, having a college degree can almost guaranteed that the child will emulate that pattern. Most children have the desire to succeed in school especially with the impact of peer pressure and bribery from their parents. Parents are truly kids first teachers and more importantly their role last a lifetime. Once education becomes a priority to a parent, it then becomes demonstrative…

    Bronfenbrenner Analysis

Throughout my life and in my home my parents, grandparents and great grandparents were all educated and there was no question whether or not education would be the next step. With this background as Bronfenbrenner says, two microsystems are interacting, such as the connection between a child’s home and school (Bronfenbrenner, U. 1979). It was inevitable that I went to college and graduate, it was even more important to further my education as much as I saw fit. The sky is the limit and we were taught that only we as individuals could hold ourselves back. There was no pointing the blame at others and we knew that if we failed that we had to take ownership and accountability for…

First, let's turn to the importance of an education. It's always a good idea to let our kids know that an education is important. That little piece of paper is extremely important. My father always told me that he always regretted the fact that he never continued his education. Of course, it was not really necessary due to the fact he works in the construction field. My mom is the perfect example of where a good education can take you. After her company was outsourced to one of those "cheap labor" countries, she decided to go back and hit the books. Now, after her head is out of the textbooks, she is an accountant for a multi-billion dollar communications company (can't really blame her for the bankruptcy, the owners just got greedy). "We all have to [go to school] to get anywhere in life, and that's what I gotta say to myself everyday." This sentence changed my entire outlook; of course, it was too late. The right people had signed the papers and I was kicked out of school. I knew what I had to do though, to get anywhere in life, I needed that piece of paper. So I signed up, studied hard, and took the test. I want my kids to learn the value of an education, show them that it really can take you places.…
