POINT SYSTEM DURING ELIMS/ROUND ROBIN STAGE
We shall be adopting the point system during eliminations/round robin portion of the league. This means no more sudden death overtimes during eliminations/round robin. Points are awarded as follows for each match you play:

Win = +3pts to your team for each match won
Loss = +0pts to your team for each match lost
Draw=+1pt to your team for each match drawn

Ranking Tie Break Criteria #1Difference of the total accumulated game scores by your team, subtracted by the total accumulated game scores scored against you by your opponent. Ranking Tie Break Criteria #2Quotient of the total accumulated game scores by your team, minus total games scores scored by your opponents against you

SAMPLE ELIMINATIONS SCORESHEET

The top 4 teams to move into the Semi-Finals would be:
1. National Team B
2. National Team A
3. National Team F
4. National Team D

DEFAULTING POINTS/TIME
A game score of 5pts is awarded to a team who wins by default. While 0 points are awarded to the defaulting team.

Match points of 3 to the winner and 0 for the loser by default will apply as well.

Defaulting Time: 10 minutes from the scheduled start of match.

OBJECTIVE:

To score as many points as possible within the Match Time. 1 point is awarded to a team each time they totally eliminate all their opponents’ strikers by:

1. Hitting an opposing striker with a ball
2. Catching a ball thrown by an opposing striker

I. As an added bonus anyone of your team mates who is out (retrievers) can come back in as a striker unless: Your team already has 4 strikers on court II. Only one retriever can come back in as a striker per catch, if more than 1 retriever comes in, then nobody goes in. III. Only up to 4 strikers can be on court, no “saving” TEAM COMPOSITION:

* 12 players per company. 8 line- up (4)striker (4) receiver, (4) substitution. * Maximum (3) male strikers allowed
* Maximum (5) male in line up/ 6 players in court.
START OF MATCH:

A. Each team arbitrarily assigns 4 members to be Strikers. For Mixed category, there must be at least one Female member at the beginning of each point B. Strikers will position themselves at the end of their court behind the baseline C. The rest of the team can assign 1‐4 retrievers who will position themselves anywhere within the RETRIEVERS area of their teams half of the court. D. Retrievers are not allowed to cross over to their opponents half of the court

NEW Clarifications:

* Retrievers hanging balls in court even if the intention is to pass a ball will be monitored. If the referee deems it as an obstruction to play, then a yellow card will be issued. * No false/fake strikers. Referee will call teams to signify who their strikers are. It will be these players who will enter the court and not their teammates standing behind them. BALL PLACEMENT:

Each team will place three (3) dodgeballs along the right‐half side of the center line. This means right hand side of the centerline, facing opponents.

THE OPENING RUSH:

A. At the referees signal each team’s strikers goes to retrieve the three balls they placed. The teams must then make the balls they have retrieved touch the attack line, or any surface beyond the attack line to “Activate” them before they can make a valid strike. The opening rush only happens at the start of each game.

B. If a team fails to retrieve any ball and the other team has already “Activated” theirs, then any team may go take possession of the remaining balls left in...
