Specific Purpose Statement: To persuade to my audience that we as tax payers should fund NASA. Central Idea Statement: To persuade to my audience, that we as tax payers should fund NASA. By first, discussing why the majority tax payers don’t want to fund NASA, Second, by explaining the cause of not funding NASA, and finally, exploring the achievements NASA has created and improved that we all use today and the possibilities we could experience in our future if we were to fund NASA. Main Points:

Tonight, I will be opening up my speech with a quote from a famous intelligent astronomer named Neil Tyson, in “Universe” History.com, November, 2011.
