Freshers Speech
if life is a waste of time and time is a waste of life then lets get wasted and have the time of our lives

Good evening everyone and a very warm welcome to all those new pretty faces.

I feel deeply obliged having the oppurtunity to address our juniors.

You guys are starting for a journey that we just have completed but life.... life is an endless journey it has no end , but milestones definitely yes milestones
And completing your graduation from this college will certainly be a memorable milestone .

So fasten up your shoe laces and buckle up your belts for the journey ahead , because the best part of your life is waiting for you .

I must introduce you to our college our college the KEC is one of the best engineering colleges in india , the motto of our college is creating global players by global players I mean that the KECians stand apart from the global crowd .

No matter how tiny are the sparks of victory but KECians know how to fan those sparks to flames .

So feel proud to be a part of this great institution .

And talking of studies teachers here are eager to give the most they can .

I would like to quote abott lawrence here
There is alot of knowledge in universities because fresher's bring a little in and seniors don't take much away
So knowledge sort of accumulates.

The college is offering all it has , but it depends on how much you can take of it .

I would now like to make you aware of the three most basic rules of our college-

1 . Do it today or it could be illegal tomorrow.
2 .Certain things nerely happen and uncertain things are certain to happen, expect the unexpected.
3 . Mingle up with your seniors or you will feel homesick. Make sure you follow all these rules and you will certainly have a great time here.

So I on behalf of the all the seniors would like to welcome you to the KEC .
I hope you have the time of your lives

Good evening everyone; teachers, faculty, family, friends, and the Walkerville graduating class of 2008! Wow. This day arrived so quickly – this final high school farewell seemed so distant, but it snuck up on us before we knew it. School is tricky like that; one hour and fifteen minutes can feel as long as “”, while the end of the school year can come around as fast as “Brandon Holland running the 200 meter dash. The other three years went by quickly, but none accelerated as much as this final school year. And what an amazing time it has been, Walkerville – from grade nine to now, the experiences have been unforgettable, and small wonder, considering how incredible this school is and the amazing students that make up this graduating class. There is no other school like Walkerville. it is the best high school in Windsor Essex county. Walkerville is in its own class altogether - When I look at this graduating class, I see a group of outstanding young adults. I see so much respect, acceptance, and just all around an extremely classy group of guys and gals. The talent here, especially in this senior year is phenomenal. This senior student body is made up of simply amazing actors, athletes, artists, dancers, writers, photographers, singers, really smart people, and musicians. But at Walkerville, the talent never stops at one category. To just name a few, athletes take art and dance classes, dancers play bassoon, artists sing, musicians participate in extreme stunts such as the four man piggyback, swimmers play piano, businessmen play broomball, historians write toxic love poems, and if you’re a male dancer, then you’re a hero in general. Moreover, this graduating class is a stellar example of how extraordinary ability can be combined with good character and school spirit. This senior year has constantly shown love for their school, simply by getting involved in any way possible. Helping out at events such as frosh day…

Teaching and Learning are intertwined with each other to the degree that they complement each other by building on one’s prior knowledge. Student’s come into the classroom with open minds, and it is the teacher’s responsibility to expand their minds and fill it full of information, so that they can use the acquired knowledge to build their personality and broaden their thought process to help them solve problems of everyday life. When a student comes into the classroom they should be eager to learn and willing to build on the lessons they learned from the day before.…

Tonight is bitter sweet for me…bitter because my basketball career is coming to end and it really is hard to say goodbye to something you truly depended on through tough times and good times. Basketball has always been for them as well as my teammates and my coaches…its just hard to say goodbye. The sweet part is that this season isn’t over yet! I would like to thank a few people tonight. First off, I would like to thank God for giving me this opportunity to play basketball and allowing me to play with a torn P.C.L. in my left leg because most people would have to go through surgery or be enable to do sports in general. Words can’t describe how thankful I am for God giving me another chance to play this sport without any surgery. Secondly I would like to thank my dad for getting me into basketball. After a long day at work, you still managed to get me to practices and games. Not only that, I appreciate spending all of your summer weekends for majority of my life traveling everywhere for hundreds of tournaments. I know we both have had our differences and we both don’t always see eye to eye especially when you try to be my coach but you have always believed in me when I felt like nobody did and for that I’m more than thankful. But as I’ve grown, I’ve realized you just wanted to see me succeed and be the best that I can be. A huge, special thank you will definitely be for our coaches. Coach Clayton aka Teacon, you are a second father figure in my life and I’m so blessed that I have gotten the chance to be coached by you since the 4th grade on the court and off. You always believed in us more than anyone else, and you have shown more dedication than anyone I know when it comes around to coaching on the basketball court. Coach Eddie, I don’t know where we would all be if we didn’t have you to condition us. Coach Walker, thank you for always taking stats with my dad and having gum on you during the games! Also thank you to the fans (aka parents) that come out and…

Hello, everyone! I’d like to thank everybody again for coming out today to help send us off into our futures. The sad truth is, is that this is probably the last time I’ll get to talk to my entire class at once so I’m gonna try and make it good. We’ve come a long way from nap time and chasing each other around the playground well…maybe something’s never change. Our class has had some awkward moments, from learning about the “bull head” in Mrs. Currnutt’s class, to Morrison hitting on Mrs. Harber. But, we’ve also had some fun times too. We had a pretty amazing fishing trip at the end of our junior year, and also we made a great Senior Harlem Shake! In the past four years I have become friends with people I never expected to be friends with, or even the past two years, for that matter. And I think our whole class can relate to that.…

Four years ago we stepped into high school as individuals seeking to do well, to find our identity, to find our best friend. Four years ago we met our best friend, went to our first school dance, and had a crush on a cute senior. Four years ago, we couldn't wait to get older.…
