Freedom Of Speech: An Argument Against Abortion
Free speech should not be limited because our country was built on freedom of speech. It’s what made segregation illegal, slavery abolished, and helped build our nation today. American was built on the constitutional right, being freedom of speech. The country would be chaotic if the right was taken away from us but there are circumstances where individuals go too far and overuse the right to freedom of speech. One can express what they have to say, but there is a certain way one should go out and express it. Tone of voice plays a role in how a person will react. Abortion has been a highly controversial topic. In my perspective, I do not believe anyone should have the right to kill an unborn fetus under any circumstances. It seems so wrong

f there is one thing that everyone can agree on, it would have to be that no matter where you are in the world, there is always going to be disagreement. Today’s society is made up of such an abundant number of controversial issues. One of the most controversial issues being abortion- the act of intentionally termination a pregnancy resulting in the death of the fetus (Kreider, A. personal communication, March 24, 2011). Abortion is both constitutionally and morally wrong, and should be illegal in the United States in all but two cases: if the mother was raped (and pregnancy was as a result of the rape) or if the mother’s life would be put in endangerment by the pregnancy. Abortion is murder at any stage of pregnancy, and acts against the U.S. Constitution. Not only does abortion harm innocent babies, but abortion also rises the risk of medical complications for the mother. Majority of women who choose to abort regret the decision later in life. There is always a way to prevent pregnancy, and if by some chance pregnancy does occur and the baby is not wanted there are other options besides abortion. “When a murderer kills a woman who is with child; the murderer is charged with two counts of capital murder. Why is this?” (Huffman, 2010). The reason is because a fetus is a person whether he or she is born or unborn. Life begins at conception, since living is defined as the ability to grow; and growth is occurring in the mothers womb. Did you know that the most growth in a person’s entire life occurs before birth? Abortion is murder at any stage of pregnancy because it is ending the life of a human being. According to Heritage House (2009), at the very moment that the sperm penetrates the mother’s egg, a unique individual with all his/hers features is formed. Abortion is legal up to 24 weeks into a pregnancy and sometimes more. Yet a merely 21 days in the mother’s womb the fetus has blood vessels, sex organs and a heart beat. Majority of women don’t even know that they…

There are three main different views of the abortion debate. Most of the debate is if the fetus is considered a human or not is the main argument. For the pro-life side of the abortion debate, they mainly say that it should be considered human. Of course the pro-choice feel just the opposite usually. I personally, consider myself to be Pro-Life because I don’t think that we have enough information on the fetus and I could never consider killing a human (or even a fetus). I feel that the parents should have taken responsibility and taken the appropriate actions such as choosing abstinence, or at least using contraceptives. Hopefully, you will agree after looking at the opposition and their views/arguments against my view.…

Are you Pro-Choice or Pro-Life? My position on the subject is Pro-Life. Being able to have an abortion whenever and for whatever reason is wrong. There are many court cases on abortion taking both sides. Roe v. Wade being the biggest of them all taking the side of Pro-Choice. Being Pro-Life you have to look at more than just the one case. Some other cases are Rust v. Sullivan, Mazurek v. Armstrong, and many more go Pro-Life. Understanding that many people believe abortion is okay and anyone should be able to do it makes abortion a hard subject to talk about. Everyone like to put in the opinion on abortion, but how many people look at the facts on abortion? Looking at the facts could change your opinion.…

Abortion is murder of an innocent life, and it is completely wrong in every way. There is no justification that could cover the fact that we are murdering our most defenseless human beings, and if anything we should be doing everything to protect them and keep them safe from danger, but yet some are doing the complete opposite. Abortion should never be an option, and one should never feel like abortion is the only choice because it is not the only choice. One must understand that abortion is not just, and people must come to their senses and realize the true outcomes of aborting a…

There are a mass amount of controversies when the word “abortion” is brought into awareness. This dispute has brought about both positive and negative affects on society. Abortion plays a major role in the everyday life of a human. People base their political parties, and even the jobs they choose to work at, all depending whether the host is pro-life or pro-choice. I personally am pro-life. I have made the decision of being pro-life based on multiple observations. Some of these observations include you are murdering your own child, you need to face the consequences of your actions, and to give people who are not able to have their own offspring a chance to be a mother/parent.…

Today in our society abortion remains one of the most controversial topics. There are many people who believe that it is unethical and even thought of as murder.1 Abortion is a medical procedure used to end a pregnancy and cause the death of a fetus. People who think women should not have this procedure are Pro-Life. In the majority of cases adult women and teenagers choose whether or not, when having intercourse to protect themselves. Abortions Law in America

The debate over the choice to have an abortion and the timeline used to say when an abortion should be allowed is one that has caused much divide in society and in the courtroom. There are varying views and opinions from the moment of conception being a soul and when a fetus is considered human. There are also those who suggest that babies are not actually human until they are completely formed. A third group and the one that I choose to side with is that a woman has the right to their body and that they should have the ability to have an abortion in cases where they see fit or when it is deemed medically necessary. I believe that abortion should be up to each individual woman to decide if it best suits their individual needs when the possibility of life and death is at stake. The problem with abortion is there are many that hold the opinion that abortion is never justified and in my opinion that is absurd. I believe that every woman should have the ability or at the least the possibility of her choice in aborting an unwanted child as long as it is justifiable; since she will be the one responsible for this creation not the law or even those in society that feel abortion is wrong. Therefore, she herself should dictate her choices and not others. This responsibility is not something that should be taken lightly as there are many needs of not only the mother but the fetus itself once it is born. The parent must be able to care nurture and provide for this individual for a very long time and the mother should be…

The protester can point their victories like Texas where Hundreds of women celebrated the verdict of the United States Supreme Court against a controversial Texas abortion law as the greatest victory in the past three decades where for instance states have been allowed to make the abortion difficult for some women. Considering that without the protester probably every woman would have equal access to abortion, but now different states makes the process easier or harder to get an abortion than other states, and therefore that could be because those states have a large population of people who protest against the abortion.…

One of the most controversial issues today is the topic of abortion. For many years people have been debating over whether abortions should be legal or not. There are two sides to this debate. Those who are pro-choice, do not think that a fetus is a living human being yet with a right to live. They believe it is entirely up to a woman to choose what she does with her own body (Being Pro-Choice). Those people who are pro-life argue otherwise. They believe that abortion is wrong and should be made completely illegal. I am one of them people who are pro-life. Having an abortion is the same as killing another human. It is inhumane, it is a sin,…

Abortion is a very touchy subject with very little middle ground. Every year around one-million developing fetuses are aborted for various reasons, usually financial problems. While technological advancements in medical science have made abortion a simple step to avoid unwanted pregnancies there are still negative repercussions. Abortion, specifically late stage abortion, should not be accepted by our society because the fetus can feel pain at 20 weeks, abortions are thinning the population of minority groups, and the child is never given a chance.…
