Eighth Founder’s day celebration
1] Welcome address
- A very good evening to all the wonderful people present today... Its a pleasure to start this auspicious occasion by heartily welcoming every body to the 8th founder’s day of our school, which once again brings to the forefront the creative proclivities of our students in the most proclaimed manner. On behalf of Welspun Vidya Mandir family, I take this opportunity to welcome our honorable chief guest for the evening A multifaceted man of rich varied experience in the field of Medicine, is presently the in Gujarat state he has received many awards. We also have with us , Shree B.B. Sharmaji, Director, Operations, Welspun India Limited,Mrs.Sandhya Sharma,Mr.and Mrs. Tandon,Director Met Trade limited and other senior dignitaries from Welspun. Our school maintains close ties with other schools. We are happy to have with us Mr. Subodh Thapaliyal, Principal, Delhi Public School, Gandhidham, Mr. Rashmikant Makwana, Principal, Adani Public School, Mundra, Mrs. Ritu Agarwal, Principal, Euro Kids, Adipur and Mr. Mehul Trivedi, Principal, Aum Vidya Mandir, Gandhidham.

An extra special word of welcome must go to all our friends, family and generous guests who have traveled far and wide to share today with us This is an annual event that we organize to provide to our students a big platform to display their talents which cannot be exhibited in a classroom in the regular course of studies. 2] Lighting of the Lamp

Unmesh ---[Theme] The theme for our Annual Day this year is Fusion. Life is a beautiful combination of colours, emotions and phases. Today through our programme we are making a humble attempt to celebrate that fusion which life is all about.

4] Chakshika: Saraswati is the Hindu goddess of music and all the creative arts. Saraswati is called the mother of the Veda’s and the repository of Brahma’s creative intelligence. Saraswati is also called Vak Devi, the goddess of speech. Today our school Choir is presenting a song in praise of Goddess Saraswati.

After the song- The students were trained for this melodious hymn by the Head of the Music Department Mr. Rutav Pathak. Thank you, sir.

5] Play House and L.K.G—
Chakshika --Have you ever wondered why there are seasons? Wouldn’t it be great if it was spring all year or summer? Seasons are wonderful! Without them, we cannot play in yellow, red, and orange leaves when autumn comes our way, have fun in the extra hot sun in the summer time, watch snowflakes fall during winter, or enjoy the chilly mornings and blooming flowers of early spring. The little ones of Play House and L.K.G are here to depict the different seasons. End-- Parents please note, this is the junior most class. The children are below 3 years.

6] Unmesh --Class I A and C--- Yoga and Aerobics -- Do you all want to know what is the key to stay healthy and happy ? It is an easy formula - all you need to do is indulge yourself in a regular physical activity and follow a balanced diet. Aerobics, exercises and yoga are wide-spread ways of achieving better health for the health-conscious people of the world .The term "aerobic" means "in the presence of oxygen,"And Yoga in Sanskrit stands for connection, or union.
