Summary: Forrest Gump the movie is name after the main character who humble beginning started off in Alabama. Faced with different adversities such as; an extremely low IQ, getting bullied, and wearing braces on his legs, he somehow became resilient and overcame the unimaginable. His pure childlike, vulnerability made him into a household name. Forrest Gump was born with a crooked spine so he had to wear braces to straighten it out. He discovered his love for running when he got bullied by the neighborhood children which made ultimately earn a scholarship for college. In some ways Forrest saved Jenny life by often showing up when she needed him the most. Forrest Gump went on to graduate from college, served in the Army, won a medal of honor, and owned a successful company. Forrest mom became ill, so Forrest returned back home to care for his mom. Gump’s mom passed away. Jenny returned back in his life and stayed with him for some time, Forrest ask Jenny to marry him and she took off and left him.
