Flowey The Flower Monologue
A sickly sweet smell filled the area around you. You weren't hurt somehow... A voice beckoned you to keep going. For some reason, you listened and sat up quickly. High walls surrounded you, leaving you no choice but to walk towards your doom or destiny. You noticed the soft flowers under you, buttercups as your parents called them. You felt a shiver run through you, it almost felt sinister. Eventually after this weird experience you find the strength to get up and walk towards the door looming at the opposite end of the hallway. Was this really a good idea? With a deep breath, you burst through the door.

When you fall in, an almost child-like voice greets you. "Howdy! I'm Flowey. Flowey the Flower!" You pondered on how a FLOWER could

Gazing up at the ruins and admiring how beautifully constructed they are, you accidentally run into a shining light. You're the only one that notices it since Toriel is already in the other room. (You take ahold of it and the shadows of the ruins loom above, filling you with determination.) Determination... You brush off the feeling and go into the next room. "My child, I will teach you how to get through the ruins safely, since they will be your home. Everything is based on puzzles." Toriel walked on a few buttons that opened the large door to her left. The doors here were rather large, and now you understood why. She was a goat, about 8 or 9 feet tall. Toriel gestured for you to follow her, and you did. For some reason she seemed trustworthy, unlike the flower that just tried to kill …show more content…
I have labelled the switches you need to flip." The room you entered had 3 switches on the far wall. You stroll over a bridge, which for whatever reason had a stream under it. You reach a lever with arrows drawn all around it and ponder on how Toriel could be more obvious. You flipped it and proceeded to the next switch and did the exact same thing. "Let's continue my child." Toriel smiled. You ignored her and went over to the third switch and tried to flip it, but it didn't work. She really didn't want you to fail the puzzle.

"Now, as a human in the underground, monsters may want to fight you." Toriel led you over to a dummy made out of space fabric. "Have a conversation, and stall for time. I will come and resolve the conflict." You decided to just talk to the dummy, it didn't seem much for conversation. Toriel was happy that you decided not to hurt the dummy in any way, even when it's supposed to be used for

It seemed like I was wandering into a different dimension. My senses were becoming acquainted to new feelings: guttural whispers, excruciating odour, ponderous glass-like air and the cemented, pungent, taste of death! As I opened the door candlelight rose to greet me but who lit them? I was informed that the secluded house I was purchasing has been unoccupied forever.…

A few seconds of silence passed. The next thing she said came out as almost a whisper, so quiet that I almost didn’t hear it. “She probably doesn’t even want to see me again,” she quietly scoffed, rolling her eyes. I just stayed where I was, silently protesting her stubbornness. She slumped, and sat back down in the plastic chair behind her.…

The recreation of Irene Ruddock’s character in Lady of Letters relies hugely on maintaining the quality of her idiosyncratic ways. Her prejudices and her naivety amongst other things are all relevant traits, and in my recreative piece I found that keeping with Bennett’s structure, form and use of language ensured that Miss Ruddock’s character remained unhampered with.…

I knew I wouldn’t make it to the top of the murky, warm and brown waters. I could feel the oxygen being released quickly from my lungs and bubbles swiftly skimming my skin as I slowly reached the bottom of the lake. I heard the faint cries for help and loud splashing as my sight becomes blurred. I felt someone’s hands grab mine and pull me onto the grainy dusty dirt. My vision comes back and I feel everyone’s eyes on me. They all immediately start laughing at me as I stood up and brushed the dirt off of me, feeling something tightly clutch my body.…

A mere twenty minutes later, I was exhausted. The sun had burst through the clouds and was basking the mountainside in violent light. I was roasting in the safety of my outer shell. As my once confident steps became desperate shuffles, I began to understand that my end was near. But I had a goal to achieve, and so I fought to deny what I knew to be true. Soon, I fell back and separated from the group. It was then that the guide made his move. He swooped down on me, looked me in the eye, and told me it was…
