First-Part Last Symbols

My first symbol for First Part Last is when Nia gave Bobby a red ballon on his birthday meaning she was pregnant. This is coming of age because he is going to be a father and have a child and he will need responsibility to take care of a child and watch them grow up as an adult like him. My second symbol for First Part Last is Feather. Feather is Bobby and Nia's child. Bobby loves Feather to death and never wants to put her down or leave her. Bobby has a strong relationship with Feather, they bond a lot. Bobby had to make a decision either to keep her or give her away for adoption. Bobby decided to keep her because he loves her to much to give her away.

My third symbol for First Part Last is Nia. When Nia was five years old she wanted to be a firefighter. She wanted to be a hero. She liked tacos, she cheated when playing cards, she does not like socks, she had fifty pairs of sunglasses, and she ate spicy food all the time. Nia was in the hospital and took her away from the city. She never woke up and could have had brain damage. Nia had eclampsia. I like how its really intense and calming and also some parts funny. I like how it talks about teen pregnancy because some young teens will want to get pregnant at such a young age and if they read this book it may help them change their mind and wait till they get older, thats very important to me. I really like the chapter where Bobby was talking about the wall when he was trying to get everything back in place and try to see who he really was, i thought that part was really good. I like how it goes back and fourth for the chapters like then and now, it makes you want to read more because in one chapter it tells you really good information and you just want to read even more till the
