Favorite Location
My favorite location is the cemetery in my father’s home town in Puerto Rico. I like this location because it brings me back to my childhood memories. The ocean is on the other side of the cemetery. I enjoy the combination of both. As I arrive and begin to walk up the path I enjoy the smell of the ocean. I stop, close my eyes, take a deep breath, and I take it all in. The beautiful palm trees, the smell of the salt ocean and the sound of the blue ocean waves. I love the sound of the rosters as they sing. I often sit on top of my father stone. As I sit on his stone I begin to reminisce of my childhood with him. I reminisce of his touch on my head. How my last sight of him was my seventh birthday. I still feel his hug from that day. When I sit on his stone I feel as if I am not alone. I can smell his cologne in the air. I often rub his stone and I can feel his touch on my hands.
My favorite location brings me peace and relaxation. The combination of the clear blue ocean sight, the smell of the salt ocean and fruit trees, and the sound of the beautiful waves mixed with the sounds of the rosters that sing makes me feel as I have found another world that is my own. A world of my own where everything makes sense. As I depart from my favorite location I am renewed. I walk back down the path full of love and encouragement. I begin to think how good the year is going to be. With a clear blue sky as my sight I leave with a smile on my face. I leave with a heart full of joy and memories that will last a life time. The combination of the ocean sea and my father’s rest area is the most amazing location to relive

I have spent my youth in a place without pollution and breathtaking views, surrounded by the sea. Grand Manan Island is where I have been for the whole 17 years of my life. I have hiked the coast, alongside 300 foot cliffs, and climbed the lighthouses. I have swum in the same sea from which I have eaten my food from, the Bay of Fundy. There is no place I’d rather be, than surrounded by the sea.…

My happy place is not just one particular place. It’s many places, the places where I have shared and spent my most happiest moments. My personal happy place is down by my creek in a hammock. It’s the most relaxing place and its right in my back yard. I can go down there with a book or just sit in silence. It’s a place where I can go to clear my mind and escape from the world. When I’m down and sad I go here. It’s a serenity place and it cleanses my mind. The water in the creek is vicious sometimes. The beautiful flow will amaze the human eye though. The sounds of the waterfall and the birds chirping are beautiful. My favorite time to go down there is during the spring, because everything is so alive. The water is beautiful and flowing, the leaves are a luscious green, and the birds and butterflies flutter around you. It’s all an amazing sight to take in.…

The misty climate, filled with drops of dew from the nature around me felt most pleasing. The waterfall was a majestic blue, unlike anything I ever laid eyes on. Echoes of the rushing water, surged over the rocks of the mountain. Birds chirping and frogs croaking added to the sound. I was then ready to take on an activity that I had been zealous to do; snorkeling!…

    Scuba Diving

In my life, one of the best places for me to be is under the water swimming with the fish, scuba diving. The first reason scuba diving is a powerful place for me is because I love doing new adventurous things and going places I have never seen. Being under the water is like morphing into a fish and discovering a new world. I am like a kid at a candy shop when I am scuba diving, I could stay there for hours and never get bored. The next reason scuba diving is so amazing is because you have this feeling of weightlessness. You can just float around like a cloud in the sky and with the slightest kick of your fins you glide through the water. Another reason I love to scuba dive is because it is so relaxing. Being able to suspend yourself in water like a fish and see the underwater world with all its beauties is as relaxing as can be. The only noise to be heard is the deep inhale and slow exhale of each breath you take off the tank on your back. The serenity and lonesomeness of being underwater with only a couple people makes it as relaxing as being on vacation sitting at a beach. The last reason scuba diving is such a powerful place for me is because it is unique and not everybody is the world can or will do it. I love to get away from people and be with nature like I am meant to be there. Being with nature makes me feel as if I am home. Overall, scuba diving to me is a very powerful place and any day I can swim with the fish is a happy day for…

It is my happy place because I feel I belong there, I grew up there and I know the place as it was the palm of my hand. It has a beautiful beach, perfect place to play sports and full of nature. When I felt down I went to the beach with the moon up the sky, and stayed there like for 2 hours listening to music or the sound of the waves crushing with the rocks. I had all my best friends there and my best moments I have ever spent were there. Even my worst…

We finally found our perfect to spend the day at, I can’t remember the exact name of it, but the street it was off of was unique and really hard to pronounce. We all jumped out of the car once we had finally parked and quickly grabbed our towels, sunglasses, sunscreen, and all of our beach essentials. Once we were at the beach we were out of breath from running so fast. I finally was able to actually look at this fine beach we would be spending our day at, and it was beautiful. The sun was out at its most radiant, the water was sparkling like a diamond, and the air was full of warmth and a hot breeze; it was indeed a perfect spot.…

Feelings, memories, and thoughts... All these things come into my mind like a storm as I ask myself about the favorite place I have ever been to. Still, I don't find the answer. The universe is so big, that it's impossible to know which place is the one, which perfectly fits to the soul and to the body. Maybe, somewhere in the future, the best places will come up as the worst ones; and it won't be pleasant even to remember them. Sometimes, millions of people have the same favorite places. In that case they stop to seem so attractive. Favorite places also have a habit of getting boring after visiting them a lot or just change their appearance too often.…

As I transcend from earth into the realm of heaven, my body is consumed by its beauty and splendour. A most fragrant scent of musk captivates my entire being. The sky glows in warm tones of gold and copper, and mirrors and absolutely stunning reflection. A brilliantly coloured rainbow of the brightest blues and reds and yellows form an arch across the sky with shimmering gold oozing out of pots at the ends. The backdrop to all of this is a luminous mountain made of glowing white sand that glitters in the distance. This is all too much to take in but I realise that this is just the begging.…
