False Accusation
Section A The incident happened when I was still in my halcyon days. Amy was my best friend and I am going to retell the story of a false accusation made towards her. As described, they were in an empty classroom and putting all their belongings in their respective bags. Amy and her team mates then went to the netball practice after packing up their belongings. In the midst of the break time, Amy, who has always been a helpful girl, volunteered to get her team mates water bottles in the classroom. After getting the water bottles, she returned to the netball practice and handed the water bottles to her team mates as they were thirsty, Without knowing what fate would have befall her, Anis, the team captain searched high and low for her mobile phone. She couldn’t find it and as her heart turned into a bursting point of anger, she started pointing fingers and accusing Amy for her missing mobile phone. Within a few quick, swift strides, Amy stood in front of Anis and denied the false acclamations.Anis was getting on Amy’s nerves when she threw out a lot of hurtful words towards Amy, which left her crying and feeling dejected. Grabbing her bag, she immediately went home. The next day in school, Anis apologised sincerely to Amy for all the harsh words and misunderstanding. She explained to Amy that she had left her mobile phone at home and did not even bring it to school yesterday. Anis was extremely sorry for accusing Amy because of her carelessness. Amy, as I had known, had forgiven Anis but their friendship had been strained since then. Words can cut like knife so I always remember not to judge a book by its cover and don’t jump on conclusion before thorough investigation if you do not know the truth behind it. Remember that we need to treasure our friendship and strengthen

Throughout Amy 's life her father relentlessly monitors her physical appearance with the "intensity of a pimp" (133), he believes that a woman 's physical beauty is her greatest asset. Amy is naturally a strong independent woman and in response to her father 's "vigilance and pressure" (133) she decides not to be angry with her father, but simply to get even. Amy is naturally beautiful and she pretends to have gained weight and wears make-up to appear as a battered woman in a magazine photo shoot. Amy also subjects her father to practical jokes attempting to make him look like a fool. Sedaris uses irony and sarcasm throughout this dark essay. Amy emerges as a complex and obscure character that endlessly manipulates her well-meaning father, thus the reader sympathizes greatly with him and not with…

I predict Amy wouldn’t have told anyone about Herb and that Logan’s dad will find peace with his untimely death. Amy did not want to believe that her own uncle could do this to her. She was scared that if she told someone that it would seem so real and possibly no one would believe her. When Hannah, Logan’s girlfriend, discovered the abuse she told the family and they did not want these things to be true because they didn’t want to think that type of evil was in their family. Amy is only nine years old and possibly did not understand what would have been the best was to deal with her situation. Herb found it easy to use her age and fidelity to her family to manipulate her so she wouldn’t tell. Amy found it hard to actually admit that she was abused, so she thought it best to not tell which was disastrous to her now and her future. If Logan never got inside of Hannah and Amy’s dreams, Amy would still be misstated and have an undesirable life.…
