Being required to do something you don't want to can make you feel belittled. Having a required extracurricular activity is a horrific thing for many reasons. It can cause multiple complications and make life for all those involved extremely harder. Having a required extracurricular activity just will not work because it will make after school very difficult, make people not want to participate, and cause extra stress.
