I like to think I have many strengths. After review of my character/ personality test, I can see what they are. I am a task-oriented leader, which drives me to finish a project. I have a strong individual work ethic, which allows me to be responsible and not rely on others. I am good at building and leading a team. I am not power oriented, so I am not manipulative and scheming. My preferred power types include collaborating, compromising, legitimate. This means I know that a person does not necessarily need to be in management to be a vital employee. I prefer to use collaborating, compromising, and accommodating techniques when dealing with conflict. I also have a strong ability to provide good feedback.…
I believe that my strengths are my behavior, tools for analyzing problems and gift. My ethical behavior is fair and living out role responsibilities. The tools for analyzing problems I use are authority and tradition. The results say that I tend to think through a problem carefully and research options, which I totally agree with. My goal is to make a complete informed decision.…
My second most dominant Spiritual Gift is Exhortation. This means that I like to encourage people, work wel with others as well as one-on-one and have a “get it done” attitude. I agree with this Spiritual Gift for many reasons. As I was reading the analysis it talked about how I need to be careful not to interrupt others. It was very ironic to read as I tend to jump into conversations while others are speaking because I am excited about the topic. There was one part that I disagreed with. It said that I am very “serious-minded, orderly and able to explain how to apply God’s word.” I feel that these are area’s I am weak in and need to work on.…
One of my huge weaknesses is low self-esteem and confidence (Bethel University, 2014). Having this as a poor skill in life makes a lot of the other skills hard to conquer. I think if I had a higher confidence level then maybe I wouldn’t struggle so much with public speaking, management of people and seeking support from others. I don’t give myself enough credit and I am hard on myself. Another weakness that I struggle with is the ability to focus on one thing at a time. I have struggled with this quality as far back as I can remember. My mind is always racing and trying to complete more than more thing at a time.…
My strengths include time management, organization, and communication. I am fast and efficient, I can multi-task, I’m very clean, and self motivated.…
I feel like I got a good amount of strengths that help me.I could work independently pretty well, but I can work with others as well. I know how to be respectful and listen pretty well which is basically a good skill.I was raised to know right from wrong.I do not like to give up and I try my best in everything.I…
After completing the StregthsQuest survey, I learned that my five greatest strengths are Harmony, Competition, Achiever, Includer, and Communication. Some of these strengths I had previously recognized as a strength, but a few were a surprise to me. Growing up, I was always a competitive person. I enjoyed the thrill of winning, whether it be in a team effort or individual effort. Also, I have always wanted to achieve great things in both my personal and professional life. I believe that I have always been great at communicating with others and love to include others in everything that I do to achieve a goal. The biggest strength of mine that surprised me most was Harmony. However, after reading about each strength, I know how I have utilized…
I find that my strengths include achievement motivation, school engagement, and reading for pleasure. I'm strong in these areas because I'm a naturally competitive person and find the need to compete with myself to do better then how I did before. My school engagement is because I have a natural interest and enthusiasm for learning new topics. Reading is a strength because it helps me understand people better, it allows me to look into the world and mind of someone new and get and understanding of why they are doing what they are doing. Although I hold these strengths I am most definitely not a perfect…
Not knowing the technical words of my strengths, I have always known that I am an Activator, Realtor, and have great Communication abilities. Seeing that I fall under the categories of Strategic and Adaptability, I will now be looking to utilize these strengths every chance I have. Adaptability means being able to adjust to new things,…
I have many strengths as well as areas to grow in, some of them overlap as both a strength and an area of growth. One of my strengths is trying hard to get any job put in front of me done no matter what it may be. Another is the inability to say no to anything someone asks me to do such as pick up a shift at work or can you help them at home. This one is as much an area of growth as it is a strength. Some areas of growth that I am focusing on improving include being more patient and not speaking too much.…
While I finish projects on time, I wait too long to start them. This threatens long term goals and growth, as they must be achieved through constant progress over time. Another weakness I must improve upon is multitasking. I often become too focused with whichever task seems important or urgent, and lose focus of other responsibilities. This can cause long term goals to be eclipsed be seemingly important immediate tasks. For example, networking may be overlooked in favour of completing assignments. I also must specifically work on my social skills. I tend towards being an introvert and therefore must work harder to make social connections. This means I must be willing to go beyond my comfort zone and become a more vocal leader. I also suffer from crippling depression. Finding relatable memes always cheers me up, so it’s not a big deal. Another issue I have is dealing with ambiguity. If I do not understand something, it tends to cause me stress or avoidance. I will need minimize this to improve on other weaknesses, such as procrastination. Lastly, I tend to be a follower. Often, I will imitate others rather than set my own…
However, by balancing the previous I have felt the challenging pressure of getting all things done on time and satisfactorily. Life is a learning experience. Being able to acknowledge your strengths and weaknesses can help you be better in what you designate to do with your life; whether it be positive skills and abilities that will achieve goals, or negative areas that need growth. Knowing what you can do, will help recognize and conquer weaknesses. A few of my greatest strengths are, being caring, compassionate, empathetic and understanding.…
My strengths are I’m very patient, calm, determined, friendly and a hard worker. For example, when I went on training at Auburn Nursing Home, the elders there really like me because I knew what I was doing. The elders said I took very good care of them and didn’t get angry even when they were in bad moods. I am also a fast learner and willing to learn new things. As for my weakness, I am a shy person. However, I know I could overcome that weakness as I interact with more patients while going through…
My area of strength is my drive and determination to complete anything I start and my willingness to keep persevering. I have always held on to the statement that nobody has to become the product of their environment. The environment does not make you but you make the environment you live in. On the other hand there are areas that I need growth in such as the structure of my…
In my life I believe that I have most of the skills I listed above. Organization is one that in my life has helped me so much. When I was younger my mom always kept a clean and organized home. I believe that’s where I get a lot of organization from. As of right now I am in school and also have a full-time job. With going in so many directions I have to keep organized when it comes…
