Why did the world go to war in 1914?
In 28 July 1914, the war started which created over 37 million casualties and put people through blood, fear, which later named as World War 1 the war took 4 years, 3 months and 1 week, leaving memory to people during the world that they will never forget with the unpleasant sequel. Even though the war ended 1918, which is 96 years from now, but still there are a lot of hypothesis, theories, and even conspiracy theory about why did the world go to war in 1914, causing Italy, Austria Hungary, Germany, ottoman Empire and Bulgaria fight against Russia, France, Britain and USA. When we look before the World War 1 happens, we could easily figure out that there was huge tension and are rivalry between each country, such as arms and naval race. However, to figure out the tension and why country made alliance, which resulted whole European country to the war, the most important thing is Franco-Prussian War. In July 19th of 1870, France declared war toward Prussia. However, the army of Prussia was well structured and strong and even more, north German confederation and south German empire helped Prussia and sent an army, which made higher possibility of wining. However, compare to Prussian army, army of the France was not that weak, but the problem was that people in France refused to develop their army, which is main cause of the losing the war. As the seesaw of the war shifted towards Germany, Napoleon finally surrendered. But German kept going on attack, which resulted Paris to demolish. By this war, the Prussian Army got world wide fame, which helped world’s military thought to flow towards Germany – start to think of idea of imperialism. And this made other European country worry about Germany because there was no more land left for Germany which suggested that Germany will attack some of the colonies sooner or later, especially Britain who had huge colonies. While whole Europe was watching and tracing the movement of Germany, Germany finally proved that the prediction of other country was right – arms and navel
