Explain How The Three Representative Bodies And How It Is Relevant To Own Role

I have picked three representative bodies, of which I will be describing the roles and responsibilities and how it is relevant to own role.
Trade unions:
The trade union for education is called Voice. Their job is to represent each member of the trade union as a whole. This can be done via supporting them, protecting their rights and listening to their concerns and or ideas. To support their members they monitor their happiness at work, to see if they are valued and have job satisfaction and job safety (this means no zero hour contracts). If there are any issues trade unions take industrial action (strikes) to protest their views as ever industry has the right to be heard. For example, if nursery teachers are not getting paid enough or are working too long then they will conduct a strike, this would leave nurseries with an inefficient number of workers to run the nursery, this would have a huge impact and could make the nursery face closure till the strikes are over, therefore almost forcing organisations to pay more in wages to their workers.
Government bodies:
They help educational institutions that are not progressing well to achieve a higher standard by sharing with them the best practice and how to implement it. They also regulate a range of early years and children’s social care services, making sure they’re suitable for children and potentially vulnerable young people, as well as inspecting childcare, adoption and fostering agencies and initial teacher training. They also publish reports of their findings so they can be used to improve quality of training and
