Excessive Perspiration Images

Before I wrote this essay, I searched for images of excessive perspiration. During my search, I discovered there were various outlooks on the topic, but two prominent images caught my eye. One of the images feature a woman, who appears to be resting after a workout. The other image shows a man, who looks like he is taking a break from work. Both images illustrate different types of individuals with the same condition, but the first image would be considered more appealing than the other image. The reason being is that it features an attractive woman. In my opinion, I believe excessive perspiration could have a negative perception on people. They may conclude that it is a revolting habit, but their opinions may alter depending on who is affected by the condition. Personally, an individual’s excessive perspiration wouldn’t have a negative effect on me. I wouldn’t deem these individuals as unusual because of their imperfection. If their imperfection did influence my perception on them; how would I look in their eyes’?

In a scenario like that, I would try to resist the public’s attention by patting myself with napkins. Most people with hyperhidrosis resist wearing revealing clothes or avoid going out altogether, in attempt to conceal their condition and embarrassment.
