• Rhetorical device:
+ Symbol: -The wings represent freedom to do something as well as dreams and hopes. -The scissors might be understood as barriers or obstacles which prevent somebody from doing what he/she wants.
+ Metaphor: - That these parents are using the scissors to cut his son’s wings means they are preventing him from following his own dream or living his life the way he wants . - This refers to the fact that many parents are making their children live the way they expect. They set a standard for children and prevent them from being creative, being different and being themselves.
• Message: Parents should let their children live the life they want to as they will never be happy if they live someone else idea of life. Parents
