Many people talk about epic heroes, and all their qualities of being so epic. Epic heroes evolve from what they do and how they are. They have this life of being admired or being so good at something. Well, Odysseus is an epic hero, my epic hero. He has all the perfect qualities for him to be called an epic hero. Odysseus has gone through many things during his life as it is said in the odyssey. The odyssey explains and tells the story of Odysseus on the journey he had. It was a long trip for him going through all that. It is sometimes hard dealing with many problems in life, but Odysseus always found ways to avoid the problems and fix them. He was intelligent by how he used so much his mentality and brain to escape from all

The Trojans and the Greeks had been in a fight for over ten years for the reason that this man had lied to the Trojans. Odysseus with his intelligence, had a plan to win the Trojans and win the war. His plan was to make a wooden horse and trick the Trojans to let the wooden horse in their home to take them by surprise. He demands his men to make a wooden horse that had the perspectives of looking real. It had the size of a real big horse and the details too. They had been working on this for days. When the time came, Odysseus and his men reunited and gathered together. They got inside the horse and they headed to the Trojans home. They knocked on the main gate, and since the Trojans saw there were no Greeks they let in the wooden horse thinking it was a normal horse. The Trojans did not suspect anything. Once they let the wooden horse in, Odysseus and his men jumped out of the wooden horse and attacked the Trojans. The Trojans were not expecting the attack so the Greeks took them by surprise. The Greeks won the war because of Odysseus´s intelligent plan. The Greeks were finally led in the others to the Trojans home where the Greeks belonged. It was a happy victory for the Greeks. He left his son and wife. They were left in charge of the whole kingdom. Odysseus began his journey, many problems occurred to him. He had been in many places during all the time he was gone. One of the places he ended up on was this island with almost no men left. They were hungry and were looking for some help. Odysseus and his men had found this cave in the island. They entered the cave and searched for a place to sleep and any other helpful resources. As they searched more into the cave they food cheese and wine. They started eating the food. Odysseus decided to wait to the person who lived in the cave to ask them if they could have some of their food to take. Later on the evening they heard a loud noise, all the men got scared and they hid around some rocks. Odysseus was the only one who had the courage to talk to the noise. He saw it was a cyclops that was one eyed and he had his sheep. The cyclops closed the cave with this big rock. The cyclops saw that Odysseus and his men were hiding so then he took two of the men, smashed them against the floor and ate them. It was night so the cyclops fell asleep. The men were still hiding from the cyclops. On the next morning the cyclops did the same thing, he smashed two more men and ate them as his breakfast. He then took his sheep and rolled the rock out of the way and left. But he rolled the rock to its place to make sure Odysseus and his men did not
