Example Of Accomplishment In Film
Must a person always be acknowledged to in order to have accomplished something? My answer is no because you must do something that is self fulfilling. It must feel like an accomplishment to you. Are you happy with the work that you have done. An example is American author L. Frank Baum who loved to tell stories to make children happy. He had tried it all news paper publishing, playwright and even tried raising chickens but Baum was a dreamer. A hopeless romantic who had let his imagination lead him through life. He really found nack in writing children’s books. Really loved seeing the smiles children’s faces when they were reading his stories. To please children and himself was ulitmate goal. He was never looking to be famous or rich I do …show more content…
They find a story they want to tell and they believe so strongly in telling it that it does not matter if only one person sees it as long as there story reaches someone. Which is accomplishment. They realize that you do not have to being famous worldwide they feel inside themselves that they have accomplished something is which good. Halloween directed by John Carpenter is a great example. It's one of the most famous independent films of all time. It's just a bunch for kids having fun making a movie. They were not trying to be rich or famous they just wanted to have good time making a movie they wanted to make. They felt they were apart of something special. When the movie was release they never expected to make much money and be seen by millions of people. Jamie Lee Curtis never expected to become this big Hollywood movie star. They did something they believed strongly in doing but not be famous or recognized. Doing something for fun and feeling about it …show more content…
That is what they want to accomplish without the fame and the money that can come with it. They just want to make good music even if there family only evers hears it. If they make music that they are proud even without acknowledgment that is accomplishment because you are doing something that is self fulling because who are accomplishing something that makes you proud of yourself and your work. Sometimes they just want to dance and or be moved by whatever they are trying express through their music and really that’s what counts. If they are proud of it then they have accomplished something if they are not being recognized by millions of people. That is what struggling musicians do sometimes because what they do makes them feel

The Coen brothers can be considered an example of what not to do when first starting out as a writer and director in the film industry. From the beginning, they did not try to get a big name producer, go for big name actors, or write movies they knew would be hits. Instead, they raised money from the citizens of their hometown to make their first film Blood Simple, which starred pretty much no-name actors and actresses in an absurd plot. However, this put their name on the map, and it was because of that movie that we have masterpieces today like Fargo. They use their own techniques that, if tried by any other director, would seem forced, but when put to fruition by the Coens create a film that captivates many.…

When I watched the film “Wit” at first, I became curious to the reason why it was entitled “Wit”. The overall plot of the story seems so simple but there are a lot of twists which become clear as the story unfolds. In the latter part of the film, I realized that it has been given the title wit because in the end, Vivian recognized that what is more important than intellectual learning is the human compassion that she gets just when she needs it the most.…

While every musician has had to do something different to get to where they are, some have struggled more than others to make themselves heard. As a musician creating music to me personally is a way to escape reality, if only for a few minutes. In that time your free from the worries of the world , all the sadness and tragedy, all the hate, and all the suffering dissipate as none of it has ever existed and in the present moment all that matters is expressing yourself and letting your soul take over. Just as doing a hard drug, music takes you away from reality, but unlike drugs reality doesn’t slap you in the face when you come down from your high. Sonny had a real passion for music, a passion that is common among serious musicians. When music begins to take over your life the passion and the artistry becomes real and a part of your life. “But I thought I’d never hear the end of that piano, everyday Sonny came home from school and went to the piano, after supper back to the piano, he played every day, every chance he got” (Baldwin 34). His brother chose to not make a scene of it or even bring it up to Sonny because he said he sensed that he was playing for his life. The narrator began to see music take over his brother when a letter got to him from the school that Sonny hasn’t been going to his classes. The narrator sees this as not caring about his future and self-destruction, and I disagree. I see it as knowing exactly what you want to do in life and pursuing it. I see Sonny as an artistic genius with a soul tuned to…

If an independent film uses popular genres (like crime or drama), they are more likely to achieve success than one that is apart of a niche market as popular genres can appeal to a wider audience. Sometimes the target audience just wants to sit down and watch a film that has a good narrative and isn’t filled with big special effects like a lot of Hollywood films. Indie films offer a new take on things, usually having characters that you can relate to and real issues rather than how ‘Mars Needs Moms’. Also, when a film is about something people might know about (like The King’s Speech for instance), they are more likely to see it.…

I have few accomplishments in my career, the most accomplishment I am proud of the indie film festival company I've work with that we have more than 300 indie film submissions each year and with close to about 1,000-2,000 movie goers to come see the film through out our indie film festival week. Another, accomplishment that I am proud of is to help the a non- profit indie film that I am part of as a producer and we partner up with Nokero we raised over $15,000 in helping the production of the film and each dollar we raised Nokero gave one solar lightbulbs to the third world country families such as the…

It’s easy to make a goal rather than to achieve it. However, with determination one can succeed in accomplishing it. I have accomplished one of many goals in my list and that's to attend college. In my family not a lot attended college or even finished high school, so accomplishing this goal is a big subject of matter to my family.Getting this far is even a big accomplishment in my eye’s, especially when you break free from an assembly line of generations that never had attended college. The feeling is still overwhelming, mainly because I’m the first of many generations in my family to accomplish something big like…
