Essay On Service Animals In Public Places
Did you know that there's a law that a service dog is the only animal that can go in public places? I think that any service animal should be able to go to a public place as long as they’re helping someone. Monkeys are actually very smart and can help someone more than a dog can. Also other animals may keep someone calm, may help them carry something, and may even give someone exercise. But since this law is here no one is allowed to take any other animal but a dog to public places. Dogs are really good service animals but what about monkeys? I know monkeys might seem crazy but they’re actually very smart. Also they have human like hands so they can do more human like things than other service animals. At a place in Boston called “Helping hands” they teach monkeys how to do stuff …show more content…
For example,A snake,a bird,a cat,a horse, and even a pig! From the article “Animals Helping People” it says that horseback riding is good exercise it helps people feel happy and confident and even riders who can't see or have a hard time moving their muscles can have fun on a gentle and quiet horse. A snake can help someone stay calm. A bird can help carry stuff for someone. Since there's a new law though no one is aloud to A new law says that only dogs are allowed to help people in public places. I feel that the law is not necessary. Other animals should be allowed to go in public places too especially if they are a service animal. Monkeys work really hard at a place in Boston called “Helping Hands” so they can help people in need. Also other animals have other talents that dogs do not have. So if a person would like something to drink a dog can pour their owner something to drink. I think we should not have this law. Monkeys should be able to go in public just as much as dogs can.Other animals should be able to go in public also. They can help people in need in many different ways.We should not have this

Guide animals assist the blind, hearing animals signal the deaf, and there are many other animals that help persons with other disabilities. Another way that animals work for us is by providing emotional support to those with mental health issues. These animals are usually prescribed by a doctor and they are called emotional support animals. One last way that we can see an animal working is in the military. Animals and humans were created to coexist on this earth and therefore should receive fair treatment. Many cannot fathom the idea of initiating legal rights for animals. Some may even perceive it as absurd to dedicate and focus time on non-human animals. The main problem is that humans have advanced significantly, establishing a complex intellect that other species lack. Humans possess many capabilities that are distinct from those of others.…

The problem is gang members, drug dealers and dog fighters have been known to train these animals because it often has been claimed that the pit-bull and other “fighting” breeds are especially dangerous because of human breeding selection for physical and “temperamental” traits functional in pit fighting (Budiansky, 2001). . The media spotlights these incidents altering the perception of people whose only exposure to these animals is seeing them in connection with criminals. To these people outlawing so called “dangerous breeds” may sound like a logical solution. However, responsible dog owners are having their homes invaded and being forced to watch a beloved family member being taken away to be “destroyed”. Not because the dog had bitten someone or it was being used in illegal activity, but because it has been labeled dangerous for no other reason than being a pit-bull. Cities, counties and states all across the nation are enacting these pit-bull bans in reaction to highly publicized criminal activity involving these animals. Can you imagine enacting a ban on Pomeranians because a criminal was the owner of one?…

When you buy a pet you acknowledge that they are your responsibility. If the pet destroyed someone’s property then it is the owners fault, not the dogs. However that is not true for biting. For some reason the government feels that it is a whole breeds fault if it is only a couple of dogs bite humans. The government should punish the owners instead of the dogs. Some owners just let their dogs run around and do whatever the dog wants. Then when the dog gets into trouble the owner does not take responsibility for the dog. So instead of the government banning the whole breed they should focus on the owners. They should ban certain people from owning a Pit Bull. If they did that then they would realize that it is not the breeds fault, but it is the owners fault. The government could also force owners to have a beware of dog sign, this way people would know that there was a dog around that could potentially be…

An employee may be uncomfortable when a dog comes into the workplace and start sniffing around them. The employee do not know what the dog will do if the employee becomes afraid of it.
