Essay On Ender's Game Movie Vs Book
It's been a years since the last bugger invasion had happened, the International Fleet have been searching for commander to lead their fleet to battle. But, they look for commanders in schools. Ender Wiggin, a young kid who is the third child in the family, is invited to battle after a problem at school had occurred. As you read, you will see a story of a kid who changes from a child to a mature person. And about a person who is our last hope of survival. There is a movie and the book and I think the book is better than the movie.
There are many crucial elements to the book Ender's Game. Some are the fact that it travels between Ender and Valentine. Another one is when the book give out more detail on what ender did and how he met his friends at battle school. The book carries a lot more details in it, like it described what happened after the war. These are important cause these

One of the things that are different are that it talks about Bernard building his gang in battle school. Another example is that it introduces Bean when dragon army was rebooted in the book, but in the movie, Bean was introduced in the beginning. The final example is that in the movie, Ender found the queen after the battle near the base, in the book Ender finds the queen at the bugger planet that they were colonizing after a few years. This is how the book and the movie is very different from each other.
This is why I believe that the book is better than the movie. The book which has a lot of detail in it and more story. While the movie lacks detail in the story and shorts it from the book version. The book would not just stay with Ender's life, but would update us on what is going on with Valentine, Peter, and the rest of his family's life during the story which expands the story. While the movie only shows Enders life. So now I want to ask you, which do you think is better, the movie or the book? Think about

Character development featured in the book lacks in the movie and most of the characters display different physical and emotional traits than depicted in the book. Plot changes include forced heteronormative romance among child characters, cut scenes that make Ender seem apathetic in the book, and additional scenes that add a more human element to Ender’s character. Use of detail in the movie focuses on the action filled moments while the book focuses on Ender’s perspective. Hollywood killed the idea of Ender as a child genius with questionable morals favoring the idea of an older, more likeable protagonist for an action…

Ender go’s to military school and he gets bullied from the start and makes a name for himself right at the beginning by braking some kids arm, so after that every one starts to put together gangs and start having gang wars in the battle rooms and in the cafeteria. There where lots of twist in this story like ender would always when the war games and he was the commander of army’s and he was just smarter than the older boys. It was pretty easy to fallow the plot if I didn’t zone out but if I did zone out than it was pretty easy to know what was happening because the story would repeat its self. The language in the book was really easy to understand there was a lot of a made up words but it was all right. The mane thing emerges in the book when it comes to the battle games and ender is better then everyone else.…

For example, recall when Ender plays the game and discovers a park full of wolf children (in Chapter 7)? And when he tries to use the playground, Ender's character fails. Surely this game seems to tell us that Ender a) can not play children's games and b) can not play with children. But this is just a game, it's not Ender's true life, so you might be wondering why this scene is important.…

One of them was a scene in the movie, that was also explained in the book, that had a lot to do with the manipulation of Ender at battle school. When Colonel Graff asked all the launchies a question about gravity, none know the answer, except Ender of course. After Enders answer, Graff replies with “There’s only one boy on this launch with any brains at all, and that’s Ender Wiggin. Take a good look at him, little boys. He’s going to be a commander when you’re still in diapers up there. Because he knows how to think in null gravity, and you just want to throw up” (31-32 Card). From this, all of the other boys hate Ender. This is a very important part in the story, like I said earlier, it shows Graffs manipulation whish has a huge role in the story and I’m glad they put this scene into the movie. Another good similarity they had between the book and the movie was that Ender got to command his own army. This really tells us how smart Ender is to be able to command an army (Dragon Army). Lastly, the fact that Ender felt bad after destroying the Buggers showed up in the movie also was important. Showing his “inner Valentine”. There weren’t a lot, but those are some of the important similarities between the book and movie of Enders…

This book is not only good because of its technological advances but its use of action and drama together. This book has a lot of action that plugs us into the book and we can never get enough of it but it also gives it a touch of drama that helps connect with not only Ender but all the other characters. This drama lets you know how Ender is feeling about the games but how older kids treat him and his friends. This book is good as it is but when you add the action and the drama it becomes a good book for not only boys but it's also a great book for girls.…
