Essay On Becoming A Physical Therapist

Imagine waking up everyday and love going to work. If I were a physical therapist, I would love going to work. Physical therapist is a job in the medical field. If you have ever injured yourself and had to go to physical therapy, a physical therapist is the person who would help you recover from the injury. I have been researching the job physical therapist. I chose to research this job because I will get to help patients to recovery. Physical therapist falls under the career cluster health science. Health science is the career cluster I want to have a job in. I know a physical therapist job is the best job for me because of the work environment, education and training, important qualities, and salary and job outlook.

Work Environment
Physical therapists have many duties to help a patient to recovery. One duty is to help the patients increase their mobility. They do this by using exercises, stretching maneuvers, hands-on therapy, and equipment to ease patients pain. I feel like this will
One skill is being positive. They have to be positive for the patient and give them moral support. I think being positive will not only help the physical therapist but also the patient be in a better mood. Another skill is to be observing. A physical therapist must have this skill to help diagnose injuries. If a physical therapist does not have this trait I don’t think they are a good physical therapist. In conclusion, being positive and observing are two of the many skills a physical therapist needs. Physical therapist falls under the health science career cluster. Health science is what I scored highest in. This means that a physical therapist is a good job for me. My primary work value is achievement. One of a physical therapist's primary work values is achievement. That is great because that is what I tested highest in. In conclusion, physical therapist would be a good job for me.
