Essay Example Of A Conflict Of Interest At CBS
One example of a conflict of interest with CBS happened in 2013.
In 2013, CBS apologized for the incomplete reporting of the 2012 attacks on Libya. CBS pushed the Benghazi attacks account on the air, it failed to mention that Simon & Schuster is publishing a book Davies wrote. This has barely come up in CBS’ discussion of the controversy around its story, and wasn’t mentioned at all in the network’s apology to viewers. So this is a serious conflict of intrest because it involved CBS with a company that CBS owns.

As a student, it is a great honor to be just nominated as candidate for National Honor society. It shows me that I have been working hard to stand out more than others. Throughout my high school career, I want to be one of the top and I have been trying to reach that goal. I have chosen to take all honor classes to help me get there. I also show traits that could make me a good leader. I was also elected to go to the North Suburban Leadership Conference. I like to go out and meet new people, and I think NHS is a good place to explore and meet new people. I also like to volunteer and help people do things that need to be done. I help out in the garden here at the high school in the summer, help set up chairs and tables for community day, and I also help the youth football team with the “chain gang” during their football season. I also help at my church clothes donations to the less fortunate people. I feel NHS would make me stay more focus on what I need to do and also teach me more responsibility. Being in NHS would make me be an example which would hold me to act with higher standards than other students. It seems like when you’re in NHS you travel and meet more people, and I like to take those types of trips as a teenager. Also being in NHS gives me a better chance to get into colleges of my choice. I really want to go to college, and this program makes more colleges interested in me. I hope I get elected to become a member of the National Honors Society and represent it in a good and positive…

All actions have consequences. Sometimes one does not have to participate in the action, but only be related, and the crime committed can have serious consequences for everyone. The consequence, or lack of consequence, is determined by one’s upbringing. This is clearly the case present in Robertston Davies’ Fifth Business. Although Boy committed the crime, Dunstan feels a profound sense of guilt about the snowball incident. On the other hand, Boy obliterates his guilt. Guilt and lack of guilt can clearly be seen through character’s lives, relationships and philosophies.…

The basis in the case of Vo v. City of Garden Grove lies within the debate of what is more important the right of free speech, which is given to all American’s as a right under Article 1 in the Constitutional Amendments, or safety of those using the internet cafes in question. Personal safety is not mentioned in the constitution, but as The United State of America’s second President, John Adams, said in 1798, “our constitution was made only for moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” (Joe, 2005). Although the courts sided with the City of Garden Grove, one judge dissented, saying that the decision infringed upon the right to free speech.…
