    The Kent shooting were the shooting of unarmed college students protesting the Vietnam war at the Kent state university in Kent Ohio, by member of National Gaud on May 4, 1970. In May 1970, students protesting the bombing of Cambodia by United States military forces, clashed with Ohio National Guardsmen on the Kent State University campus. According to CNN, this tragic attack took place at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut on December 14, 2012.
