Did you ever know that you're my hero,
And everything I would like to be?
I could fly higher than an eagle,
'Cause you are the wind beneath my wings.

It must have been cold there in my shadow,
To never have sunlight on your face.
You were content to let me shine, that's your way.
You always walked a step behind.

So I was the one with all the glory,
While you were the one with all the strength.
A beautiful face without a name for so long.
A beautiful smile to hide the pain.

Did you ever know that you're my hero,
And everything I would like to be?
I could fly higher than an eagle,
'Cause you are the wind beneath my wings.

It might have appeared to go unnoticed,
But I've got it all here in my heart.
I want you to know I know the truth, of course I know it.
I would be nothing without you.

Did you ever know that you're my hero?
You're everything I wish I could be.
I could fly higher than an eagle,
'Cause you are the wind beneath my wings.

And did I ever tell you you're my hero?
You're everything, everything I wish I could be.
Oh, and I, I could fly higher than an eagle,
'cause you are the wind beneath my wings,

Thank you, you are the wind beneath my wings,
Fly, fly, fly away. You let me fly so high
Oh, you, you, you, you are the wind beneath my wings.
Oh, you, you, you, you are the wind beneath my wings.

Fly, fly, fly high against the sky, so high I almost touched the sky.
Thank you, thank you,
You are the wind beneath my wings
Thank you, thank you,
Thank God for you, the wind beneath my

After watching a few commercials from this year’s Super Bowl Football game, the one that caught my eye the most was the 2012 Chevy Silverado Apocalypse. It was humorous, creative, and got the point across to the audience. Compared to the other commercials of this year’s Super Bowl those were the qualities that stuck out more so. The commercial effective with the way it played out and was well set up.…

Why choosing this song R Kelly believes that if he puts his mind to work, he could achieve anything in his path. When this song was released in 1996 it was a big hit because even though people knew physically they couldn’t fly they believed they could go higher with the goals they set for their life. Kelly says, “I believe I can fly I believe I can touch the sky”, (R Kelly). Although knowing as human beings we can’t fly he makes an analogy or an example of soaring to the highest level you can or reaching your highest goals in life. Also Kelly says, “I spread my wings and fly away”, (R Kelly). Yet assuming R Kelly knows our feet can never leave the ground or arms can’t grow into wings he still has hope and faith that people will receive a message from this song. Although the song goes on he says, “I think about it every night and day/ I believe I can soar”, (R Kelly). Also lets his fans know that he really put some time into every thought that came across his mind. In conclusion this song is transcendental because it focuses on the idea of intuition or logic. He believes he has insight into the idea of flying and he believes it rather than making logical assumptions. He lets his fans know that he not only can make hit singles, but he can make hit singles that relates to people’s life style. Also as R Kelly strives for powerful words of wisdom, the connection he makes to this song “I Believe I Can Fly” gives his fans a reason to believe strongly in something.…
