He keeps current on legislative changes that could affect the unit. Thomas utilizes all available resources which include the Interstate Index National Fingerprint File, Operational Technical (III) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) manuals to rectify erroneous and insufficient data on records.

Planning and Organizing: Thomas adjusts his priorities to complete all assigned tasks without sacrificing accuracy and timeliness.

Analytical Reasoning/Attention to Detail: Thomas utilizes quality assurance when creating, amending and/or deleting a criminal history record. He recognizes inconsistencies and/or insignificant information to provide a logical and effective resolution.

Confidentiality and Protected Information: Thomas ensures that all inbound and/or outbound criminal history inquiries are based on the requesting agency and/or individual request on what they are authorized to receive. Research and Comprehension: Thomas remains current on all policies and procedures that could affect the unit.

Technology: Thomas maintains appropriate levels of proficiency when researching criminal history information with the utilized software.

Goals: Thomas will continue to stay abreast on current and changing procedures, regulations, and rules when working in the CCH database, NICS requests and legislative changes that could affect the unit. He will continue to prioritize assigned tasks without sacrificing accuracy and timeliness. It is required for Thomas to maintain all records according to the Records Retention policy as set forth by the Department. He will continue to adhere and abide by the laws/statutes/regulations, and policies that govern the CHRIP Bureau, GM, CRS guidelines and SOP manual. Thomas will continue to ensure that all requests are logged into the ER database within the five-day requirement.
