After a thorough examination of the scene, the detective and police force determined that person C committed the crime, based on the evidence that the murderer was left handed and the footprint patterns around the restaurant. We know that B, C, and D were together because they were billed together and all appear to be done with the food. Customer A was not with them because he only finished half of his food and this tells us that he was interrupted in the middle of his meal.
