Emory St. Joseph's Atlanta Case Study
Emory St. Joseph's Atlanta is in the middle of a project to upgrade TT from 2.2 to 3.4, moving to servers to Emory network, installing portal boards on each unit, and the integration of attributes and milestones. Jason Chitty is the Technical Project Manager working with the Emory team regarding the server work. Jason, please add any additional Technical information.

St. Joseph's Atlanta is the only account in the Emory network with TeleTracking after a big push for them to move to E-Bed (McKesson). The VP of Operation has pushed and stood up for Tele and pushed for the boards to place on each unit allowing us an opportunity to compete against E-bed.

    Length of stay was not the only process that was made more effective with the implementation of the PSH model at UC Irvine Health. Another aspect that was positively affected by the PSH model was turnover time of a procedure. According to UC Irvine Health ninety two percent of procedures start at 7:30 in the morning. With the implementation of the PSH model the turnover time averaged about 29 minutes. This was a 31 percent improvement from before the PSH model was implemented. For those worried about the performance of a surgeon because the turnover time improved, it went unaffected. According to UC Irvine Health, the 166 cases researched that all 166 cases had 100.00 performance rates. Because the performance of the surgeons was so high in less amount of time, this lowered the readmission rate for the same health issue. UC Irvine found that the readmission rate for hip arthroplasties is zero percent.
