Elizabeth George Speare's The Bronze Bow

In the story The Bronze Bow by Elizabeth George Speare, Daniel, a slave for a blacksmith, has ran away to the mountains. Because the Romans destroyed his family, they have made Daniel a very angry person. As the story progresses, the reader watches Daniel mature in his decisions and attitude. Throughout the story, Daniel shows himself to be an outspoken, brave, and talented person.
Daniel Bar Jamin is shown to be a very outspoken person. The first example is when he says, “I curse the air they breathe.” Daniel is not quiet about his hatred towards the Romans. Another example is when Daniel, talking about his sister, says, “My sister is possessed by demons.”
