Elementary Career Goals
I have selected Elementary Education as my major due to my love for children. As an elementary school child, my favorite pastime was playing “school”. This love for education has never left me. I deeply enjoy helping others and spending time with children. Education is my passion, which is why I chose this major. I am looking forward to the possibilities that higher education offers me. My goal is to earn a place on the NDSU Dean's list while I attend college. As well, I want to take as many opportunities to volunteer through the organizations the university offers.
My career goal is to become a fifth or sixth grade teacher in a small North Dakota school. I hope to encourage my students to follow in my footsteps with a love of reading and mathematics.
