Electroversion In Susan Cain's Quiet
Susan Cain’s persona in her book Quiet is one of a motivational, inspiring introvert who appreciates and celebrates fellow introverts. Susan Cain empowers and motivates introverts like herself in Quiet by explaining the positive aspects of introversion that she also experiences: “I also believe that introversion is my greatest strength. I have such a strong inner life that I’m never bored and only occasionally lonely. No matter what mayhem is happening around me, I know I can always turn inward” (Cain 98). This demonstrates Cain’s stance on her introverted characteristics and shows how she is a proud introvert.
