1) Social Media Marketing
What it is:
Social media marketing refers to the process of gaining website traffic or attention through social media sites. Today it is the WORD OF THE MOUSE that is creating business. Due to this, Social media has become a platform which increases communication for organizations, fosters brand awareness and often, improved customer service. Additionally, social media serves as a relatively inexpensive platform for organizations to implement marketing campaigns. What it gives:

This workshop will give the participants an hands on knowledge on how to use Twitter,  Facebook, Foursquare, Instagram, Blogs, Linkedin, Yelp etc for not just social networking but as a marketing vehicle to foster your business. What it takes:

• Interest in gaining knowledge of the use of different tools on the net. • Interest in application of the knowledge for business and other uses.

2) Entertainment Marketing
What it is:
Entertainment Marketing is one of the fastest growing elements within the marketing mix today. It helps create an emotional connection with your target audiences, keeping your brand relevant and generating tremendous results. The key to successful entertainment marketing programs lies in the relevance and connection between the brand and the entertainment proposition your target audience is passionate about. You see entertainment marketing is not limited to one specific method; it is a form of marketing that includes many different strategies and techniques. What it gives:

Students will gain knowledge of techniques used in current advertising, including print, broadcast, and digital media. The student will know the importance of marketing as well as the functions of marketing. What it takes:

• All the originality that could entertain and the unused bundles of creativity. • A sound understanding of the tempo of the crowd by applying loads of sense.

3) Visual Merchandising:
What it is:
Visual Merchandising is the art of displaying merchandise in a manner that is appealing to the eyes of the customer. It sets the context of the merchandise in an aesthetically pleasing fashion, presenting them in a way that would convert the window shoppers into prospects and ultimately buyers of the product. A creative and talented retailer can use this upcoming art to breathe in new life into his store products. Passion for design and creativity are essential to be a good visual merchandiser. A perfect design process and the ability to create ideas that are different are required. Awareness of happenings in fashion world is needed so as to keep up-to-date with the dynamics of the market constantly. What it gives:

The workshop will focus on areas like Retail Store Layout, Idea about the Display of Colors, Window Displays, Super market merchandising details, Store Decoration, Aligning and presenting fixtures and display, Furniture and equipment presentation details, Designing interactive installations, How to make the perfect blend of music with installations for enhancing interaction with the customers, Innovative and novel use of communication tools that would attract customers, Insight into attention grabbing ploys that are applied in visual merchandising and retail design, Exploring novel avenues in the field of electronic retail experience, Installing dynamic fixtures in the retail stores, Looking out for convergence of fashion design, architecture, interior design, music, Proper use of graphic displays etc.
