I. Executive Summary

We get it 4 u Valet Service is an online personal concierge business operating under the domain name of www.wegetit4u.net that has tapped into both the corporate and residential market of Romeoville, IL. We assist in managing and providing a balance between our clients professional and personal lives buy running errands within reason for clients to free up time for them to do the things that are important to them like hobbies or spending time with family.

We get it 4 u Valet Service is owned by LaWana Hudley. The company is ran from Mrs. Hudley’s home office and our staff consists of Mrs. Hudley answering calls, doing the intake sheets and setting up the contracts along with other administrative tasks. Within the next year, Mrs. Hudley would like to hire more staff as the company grows and possibly expand into other areas of Illinois.

The startup cost of $10,000 was from Mrs. Hudley’s personal funds. Most of the basic equipment for the business was already in Mrs. Hudley’s home and the majority of the cost incurred was for legal and accounting service, marketing materials such as brochures, business cards, classified ads, and television/radio commercials.

II. Business Description

We get it 4 u is a personal valet service based in Romeoville, IL. Like many people, I have a very busy life and sometimes wish there were two, three, even four of me to get everything done that needs to be done on any given day. We get it 4 u was started to help the busy individual and corporations/companies that just do not have the time it takes to get day to day tasks done. We provide the following services:

• Shopping service

• Dry cleaning drop off/pickup

• Transportation

• Party and event planning

• Office assistance

• House sitting

• Customized service packages are also available

Our business model is the online direct marketing model. We do not have a physical location, so all of our services are accessible, and plans ordered on our website. If a customer would like a custom package created of the services we provide and any not listed above, they will be able to speak to one of our representatives by phone or by online chat. We also use an affiliate-marketing model. One of our affiliates is Dream Dinners; a company that provides pre-prepared, fresh ingredients, heat and eat gourmet meals that can be frozen, and taken out when ready to cook.

Industry Analysis

This industry specifically provides services that cater to the personal needs of clients. Concierges have been around for years, but the personal concierge industry is rather recent beginning somewhere around the mid-1990s. “Recent studies have shown that the Baby Boomer generation, more than any other, has really fuelled the growth of the personal concierge industry. Caught between raising children while tending to ageing parents, this generation has been more time-strapped than any other in history.”
