Eagle Scout Project Report
Boy scouts have many levels of rank and the highest one to achieve is Eagle Scout. In order to earn this you have to do a project which requires a lot of time and effort. You get to choose your own project, meaning whoever and whatever project you want. The only catch is you have to have it done and all the paperwork handed in by your 18th birthday. While Working on Eagle Scout, I did a project which was very beneficial to chestnut hill park. I have now achieved the rank of Eagle Scout and will carry that achievement throughout my whole life.

There were many projects I could choose from that the park provided me with a list of. Out of the project i chose to powerwash the picnic tables in pavilion 2, stain those 8 tables a nice walnut stain

You first have to think of a good project which you can find on many different websites, you can also ask your fellow eagle scout what they have done to get ideas. I got my idea from my friend who did not want to be mentioned. He told me that chestnut hill park gives you a long list of things to do just pick a few and you will have your eagle project. then after I picked to do the project at chestnut hill park i had to get approval from the beneficiary of the park. Next i had to get it approved from the boy scout troop i'm in and the council i am located in, which is minsi trails council. After i got the official go ahead from the console, i could then start working on when i wanted to do the project and announce it to the troop to get helpers. Then i had to get a item i wanted to fundraise, this item would be used to earn money for purchasing the materials and lunch for the helpers. I brought it to scouts every tuesday and made enough to get all the materials. The next step was to ask stores for discounts on materials. Finally my dad and I had to get the materials from lowes, which were very nice to me and donated almost all the materials i needed. Now you can see the difficult

Starguiders are girls unanimously chosen by counselors to be emerging leaders. As a starguider I would focus on girls who were having a difficult time at camp or who were homesick and find a way to help them. We also did a service project for the camp each year in order to keep the camp looking its best. One year we made a bunk notes box to be placed by the office. Bunk notes were letters that parents could write to their kids, and then the kids would write one in return and give it to the office to have it emailed to the parents. Giving the letters directly to the office had began to be disorganized. We measured the size of the papers to make the box and then we painted it with the colors of the camp. We painted a star in the middle, a symbol that the starguiders had made it.…

In the summer of 2014 I received my Eagle award through Boy Scouts, the highest rank one can achieve through the organization. It was extremely hard and long, I had been working on pursuing this goal since 6th grade. Throughout all the awards and badges I received, the most important and memorable to me was receiving the Triple Crown Award. This award is achieved by visiting three of the four high adventure programs, spotted throughout the United States. These programs include the Northern Tier high adventure in the boundary water (MN), Philmont Scout Ranch (NM), Florida Sea Base (FL), and Paul R. Christen National High Adventure Base (WV). I participated in Philmont in 2012, the Boundary Waters in 2010, and Florida Sea base in 2013. These high adventure bases show your outdoorsman skills in different terrain and different climates throughout the country. They were each hard, adventurous and treacherous tasks to complete but, they showed me how survive in different environments with little help besides my crew. I will remember each of them for the rest of my life because they taught me so much about different parts…

Service is the reason I would be a good candidate for the National Junior Honor Society because I have volunteered in the past and would like to volunteer more in the future. I like volunteering because I enjoy helping people. I would like to join the National Junior Honor Society because I like school, I like to study and I would like to do more volunteer work. One of the things I did was volunteer in the World Refugee Day. As Apaunic Chief in the Order of the Arrow, the National Honor Society of the Boy Scouts of America, I have had a lot of experience in coordinating events, guiding, and training others. I have prepared meetings, and executed them assiduously and efficaciously.
