Doomsday: Maya Civilization and World Class

So many people are stuck wondering when the work may end. When will it? What does doomsday really mean? There are those that cite a lack or hard physical evidence, those that trust their instincts. I have always wanted to really know what’s going to happen and as many books that are sold and as many movies that are made, still no one really knows what is going to happen. Who knows, nothing might not happen at all. Theorist say that anywhere from a five to ten mile asteroid traveling anywhere from thirty to forty thousand miles per second could hit the earth and destroy all in many ways. If a fireball were to hit a solid part of the earth the explosion could create the vall of fire that cover the whole earth and kill all that is living in a matter of time. What if it was to hit the ocean? An asteroid that is that big and coming that fast could cause major damage to the earth. Volcanoes would irrupt. The impact could fracture the earth’s plate that will definitely cause earthquakes. All of this damage could occur but will it wipe every human being out? Does Dooms Day mean that there will not be total human extinction? There could be pockets of people who may live through any disaster that may occur. People are going to have no choice but to start all over. We as human being need shelter, water and food. Humans will have to start all over and provide for

themselves. Will it be possible to do so? Who is to say who can have what and where? It all comes down to who has the more man and firepower. People would want a world class military, because in my eyes the best defense is the best offense. Meaning that if you have enough firepower to protect yourself you can not be harmed. How would Africa defend them selves? Anyone with a world class army can take over what they please in an instant. The big prediction for Doomsday is December 21, 2012. The Mayan prophecy’s calendar ends on December 21, 2012 along with the book of revelation in the Christian Bible. According to www.survive2012.com, “The Maya civilization inhabited a region encompassing southern Mexico, Guatemala, Belize and flourished between the third and tenth centuries AD, but by 1200 AD their society had collapsed for reason we can only guess at. When the Spanish conquistadors arrived, descendants still occupied the are, and still spoke the Mayan language, but were unaware of the cites their forefather had created. It wasn’t until the late 18th century that explorers first investigated the dense Guatemalan rainforest and came across plazas, monoliths, temples and pyramids, each decorated with pictures and hieroglyphs. The ancient Maya had been keeping historical records using a script which mixed ideographic and phonetic elements. Some of their writing still exists on stelae (stone monuments) that recount civil events that record their calendared and astronomical knowledge.” In the book of revelation in the Holy Bible states that in 2012 there will be a war deadly flying creator and predicts diseases that kill a quarter part of the earth.

Will these theories come true? Nobody will ever know the true fact of what’s going to happen until that day comes. This theory has been around since ancient times. We can all say that it is a myth or nothing will happen just like nothing happened when the year 2000 came to date. It is hard to say what to really believe when there are so many different theories out there to think about. All we can do as human beings on Earth is wait and see what happens. Whatever the result may be could be minor or major. Let is hope that it is something that we as a planet can overcome. If the world is meant to end on its own, then there isn’t anything that anyone can do about it, only except it for what it is.
