Difficult Birth Injury Research Paper
A difficult birth or injury to the baby can occur as a result of the baby's size or position during labor and delivery. A birth injury can be categorized as any type of injury or damage to an infant's body before, during, or just after the child's birth. Complications during the course of pregnancy or labor can also result in a wide range of complications for a newborn baby. Birth injuries vary greatly - from being very minor to so severe as to cause the death of the infant.

Many possible causes may result in birth injuries or defects, including:

* Breech Delivery
* Placenta Abruption
* Failure to notice Fetal Distress
* Delayed Cesarean Section
* Medical Negligence
* Improper dating of the pregnancy
* Forceful vacuum or forceps delivery
