What is Diazepam?Generic Diazepam a trade name for the medication Valium is a benzodiazepine drug that is most commonly used to treat anxiety, seizures, insomnia, restless leg syndrome, and withdrawal from alcohol, muscle spasms, as well as Menier’s Disease. Diazepam is also used quite often during more invasive medical procedures to reduce anxiety as well as tension.
