Describe Your Career Progression

I would like to help others in need with my knowledge as an engineer. My catalyst is seeing people die in disasters all over the world all throughout my life. To me life is precious and is easily taken away so the deaths in these disasters always get to me because I know everyone has someone. My plan is to design and create robots to help save people from places that are too dangerous for relief workers such as a war zone or a building that has toppled from an earthquake. I have been dedicated to this goal by interacting with multiple robotics clubs since middle school, researching and designing robots in my spare time, and teaching myself 5 programing languages (C++, C#, JavaScript, Python, and Assembly) I just need help funding my education
To be accepted, you must show academic prestige, be a leader, and do community service. During my time in Mountain Heights Academy I have been a peer tutor for all subjects including physics and math. This has taught me how to work with others efficiently and has given me a deeper understanding to these subjects. Moreover, I am currently participating in the M3 Math Challenge that takes large problems and gives them to small groups of students to solve using knowledge and creativity. Doing this challenge helps me understand teamwork and how it is necessary for large projects and how to lead these teams. During all of my school years I have been a High Honor Roll student. Through this I have shown I want to learn and my dedication. These experiences have sparked a desire in me to learn more and to expand my educational
The degree I will follow for this goal is Mechanical Engineering. Getting this degree will give me more knowledge that I will be able to use to help others in multiple ways. My goal is to pursue all the education I can while in University by interacting with professors and the University community. Moreover, I would like to grow my leadership skills while in University so I can better succeed in my career. University has the resources needed to progress my thoughts and even give me hands on experience. I hope to save at least one life with something I have created, but strive to save much more. Personally, I would like to learn all I can so I can expand my horizons. Going to University will help me grow my skills and help me reach my career as a robotics
