Describe The Three-Pronged Leisters Of The Netsilik
The Netsilik people possessed several interest tools. They had the three-pronged leisters to capture fish then they kill the fish with a short bone hook and add the fish to a long piece of string. They also had a bow with thin piece of cloth attached to it instead of string, a dry fish skin bag that one of the men used to carry simple bone and wood tool to repair his three-pronged leisters. I plan on stretching the way they create fire. The way they start fire is bit unique as one person hold wood piece in their mouths with short wood pole. Another person used a bow with the cloth attached to it and wrap it around the wood then begin quickly moving the bow back and forth. This method appeared to require two people. This fire starting method

Blue-tooth is a great emerging technology being used today, which also has potential for much more uses than the tradition bluetooth headset. Bluetooth connects gadgets together, helping users listen to music, talk on phones without having to deal with frustrating cords and wires. To understand how a Bluetooth connection works, I will use an example such as a phone connected to wireless speaker. First, each device is equipped with Bluetooth connectivity, a feature that requires both software and hardware components. On the hardware side, an antenna-equipped chip in both devices sends and receives signals at a specific frequency. The software interprets incoming Bluetooth signals and sends them out in ways other devices can read and understand. In the case of the wireless speaker, the phone will know how to send audio files and information in a format that the speaker understands, while the speaker can interpret these signals–as well as other indicators such as volume and track controls–from the phone.…

To add this onto “my” raft as well, I glued a circle of small rocks onto the raft (I used rocks because I was uncertain as to what material Jim and Huck used as a frame for the fire pit.) and filled the bottom with a few centimeters of dirt. To make the fire, I glued a few pieces of a red and orange candy wrapper (same kind I used for fire in the lantern) in the center of the rocks in an attempt for it to bear at least some kind of resemblance to a real fire. The unfortunate thing about the wigwam was that it was too small to have the fire actually placed inside it. So I had to content myself with putting the fire pit right behind the wigwam, instead of inside it. The last thing I added to the raft was two oars. To produce these, I took two small sticks and split the top of each one. I then fitted in an oval shaped piece of wood that I had scraped the bark off of and trimmed, into the slot that I had created previously. The last thing that I did was glue both oars to the…

The factors that contributed to the growth of trade along the Silk Road is that it was located along the threshold of central Asia. All of the traders share customs with the steppe nomads farther to the East (202). The Chinese were eager to buy western products (203) which were another contributing factor for trade to be in one central area, because merchants would flock to that area. Cooperative relations between caravan traders and pastoral nomads in Central Asia grasslands increased. Parthian rulers from Iran were nomadic in origin and helped trade flourish. The spread of products and cultures along the silk road caused the spread of lifestyles and the bringing of people together. It was considered a social system in which different peoples could come together, communicate, and share their natural wealth with the world. The silk trade continued to grow for these reasons. Golding’s novel suggests that the fire primarily signifies the power that the boys have to remain connected to civilization. At the start of the novel, the boys are all completely civilized and therefore their primary instinct is to manipulate the fire in a civilized fashion. The boys select Ralph as their chief and the one of the first tasks he sets upon the them is to make orderly use of fire, announcing to the boys that, "If a ship comes near the island they may not notice us. So we must make smoke on top of the mountain. We must make a fire" 38. This is a clear indication that the way the fire is utilized would help them achieve their long term goal of the rescue. One can infer that the power of the fire, at this point in the novel, symbolizes…

“To Build a Fire” demonstrates numerous examples of the philosophical theory of naturalism that “the universe is indifferent to human beings, and people are at the mercy of natural forces over which they have little control”. According to this statement, human life is very fragile. The fact that this story takes place in the Yukon region, one should know that the natural forces are at its strongest. This would cause an intelligent person to prepare, but not in this case.…
