Depiction of Corporate Leaders
1. Introduction
Leaders are the people who are responsible for effectively managing of the company resources, working with advertising teams, and inspiring others to do their best work. They also envision ways to improve the company from the perspective of overall involvement. Ultimately, the actions and decisions of executives are referred to as corporate leadership. Corporate leadership is comprised of the executives and managers who run a company. It occurs when a company foresees ultimate success from the strong leaders that run its daily operations.
According to that perspective, we have tried our level best to select five corporate leaders. First we have selected five big companies. Among those, three are international and two are national companies according to the requirement of the assignment. Then from each of those companies, we identified an efficient leader by searching the websites. We depicted the roles, skills, success or failure stories, and minimum one example of each of the leader’s effective decision-making which is provided in this paper accordingly.
In case of the identification of leaders from the big international companies, Keith Rupert Murdoch was selected from “News Corporation”, from the mass media industry; Henry Ford was selected from “Ford Motor Company”, from the automobile industry; and Anne Mulcahy was selected from “Xerox”, from the document management and IT industry. In case of the identification of leaders from the big national companies, Nitun Kundu was a selected from “Otobi”, the furniture industry; and Fazle Hasan Abed was a selected from “BRAC (formerly, Bangladesh Rural Advancement Committee)”.
All the leaders have been selected by searching websites with the mindset focused to the roles, skills, success or failure stories, and decision-making factors skills of a leader. All those factors have been discussed throughout this document on the basis of selected companies. The purpose for doing this assignment is
