It dives into more of American food and culture which is reflected on the site while the mission statement aim is to inform investors and potential business partners. The description covers the wants and desires of the customer by identifying how the food caters towards the health conscious and elderly. This is accurate due to the website providing nutritional facts about the product along with downloadable information for reference. However, I feel both investors and stakeholders need to be informed as well as the customer, so I believe the mission statement serves its function as does the website which is a wealth of information for the customer to view (DFO LLC, 2016).
In conclusion, the corporation keeps their business aspirations separate from the actual service itself. I think this is a sound idea because as a customer of Denny’s I never thought of it as a huge multi-million-dollar corporation who is interested in building relationships with diverse suppliers. It does not correlate with a website of soft pancakes flipping in the air and polar bears entertaining children. However, I believe that is the magic of branding and Denny has a strong brand identity that is separate from their financial goals (DFO LLC,
