Deforestation Good Morning
Deforestation Good morning to lecturer and fellow classmates, today I would like to talk about deforestation.
Deforestation is elimination of forest and woodland areas on the large scale. Nowadays, deforestation has risen to dangerous levels. Deforestation is a common problem among developing and develops countries.
Most of the land was used for building and agricultural expansion. Commercial logging causes deforestation. Trees provide timber for building construction, furniture manufacture, and thousands of household items. Lot of forests disappear because need to build railways and roads. Besides that, forest fires are one of the causes. Some forest fire done by human while some cause by hot weather. In addition, some tress also cut down to make fuel. Wood was the very first fuel, and is still used for cooking and heating by about half of the world's population.
Deforestation causes a lot of problems. First of all, deforestation causes erosion of soil. Trees are essential to the eco-systems. It reaching roots hold soil in place and fight erosion. Without it when raining, the water will flow to the river, days by days the river will become swallow. This problems might cause flooding .Forests are home for thousand of flora and fauna. When deforestation happen, the problems of losing of biodiversity will be occur. Country will loss many precious flora and fauna. Several action can be taken. One of the ways is start by participating in recycling programs. There are industries that are focused at recycling paper. Old and used paper would just be processed and turned into new paper products. If the practice becomes wide-scaled, the number of trees that has to be cut down would be reduced. Governments need start implementing legislations that would effectively prevent the continued practice of deforestation. Punishment should be given to offender. By this, there would be less people and companies that would take part in deforestation. Rain and dry forests

According to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, deforestation could account for up to one-third of all anthropogenic carbon emissions. Deforestation causes carbon to linger in the air, which traps solar radiation in Earth’s atmosphere, ultimately warming Earth’s air temperature.…

Deforestation is the third largest source of greenhouse gas emissions after coal and oil (WWF). It actually leads to more air pollution, in terms of carbon dioxide, than all the cars and trucks in the world (Scheer, Moss, 2012). Around 14 percent of the carbon emissions come from automobiles and trucks, while above 15 percent come from deforestation, according to World Carfree Network and WWF (Scheer, Moss, 2012); (WWF). Trees remove absorb carbon dioxide through the process of photosynthesis, therefore if forests are removed, the process of photosynthesis will slow down leading to higher levels of carbon dioxide. Later on, these amounts of carbon dioxide could have a negative effect on the Earth’s equilibrium (Hilderman, 2010). These effects could be present in the rising of sea levels, extreme climate change, increasing ocean acidification, etc. If people do not take action of deforestation, more than 200 tons of carbon will be in the atmosphere sooner than they expect (Scheer, Moss,…

Deforestation is the cutting down of a large area of trees and the destruction of forests by people. Forests are what we call an exhaustible resource, one which can be used up if it is not used carefully. Over the last few decades, deforestation has threatened the rainforests with total extinction. To understand why deforestation is such an important issue, you first have to understand why trees matter. Trees improve in many ways the life of all species, including the human race. They help to maintain the Earth’s benevolent atmosphere, provide shelter for much biodiversity, but also have a high commercial value. As a consequence there is much critical debate around the causes and solutions for deforestation.…

Wood is one of the most valuable natural resources. It is used to build homes, businesses, churches, and museums. Men and women who live in rural areas use it to heat their houses during the colder months of the year. Likewise, refined wood can be turned into paper. Without a certain amount of logging each year, various manufacturing industries would grind to a halt. The world economy itself would fall on hard times.…

Deforestation is one of the biggest ways in which we are depleting the earth of the lungs that uses to purify the atmosphere and clean the environment of carbon dioxide which is a greenhouse gas that contributes to a rising global temperature. (4) The rainforest act as natural cleaners of the environment and help the atmosphere and ourselves by transforming carbon dioxide into Oxygen with the help of the Sun. Nowadays about twenty percent of the greenhouse gases are the effect of tropical rainforest deforestation alone. The way that deforestation impacts our world also affects the water cycle of earth as trees from rainforest whom used to extract groundwater from the earth and release it into the atmosphere are cut down and now unable to do so. Deforestation makes soils become eroded and thru rain…

In all rainforest regions in the world, deforestation has become a major problem. The rainforest is arguably the most complicated and largely interwoven ecosystem on land. However, this treasure is being lost and demolished day by day, the land being cleared away for the pure interest of money making, in the process of deforestation. Not only are thousands of species of organisms being driven to extinction, but we are also effectively eliminating any chance of studying many of the species. Also, deforestation has a major impact on the atmospheric balance of the world, and if it continues at the rate it is now, then soon the world's entire way of living will be forced to change, and not for the good. If the people of the world do not begin to be more contentious, then soon rainforests will become nothing more than a glorious legend of the past.…

Examples of deforestation include conversion of forestland to farms, ranches, or urban use. The term deforestation is often misused to describe any activity where all trees in an area are removed. However in temperate climates, the removal of all trees in an area in conformance with sustainable forestry practices—is correctly described as regeneration harvest.…
