There are many ways in everyday life that an individual can fail, whether you realize it or not. Failure is a natural thing in life for every single person, no matter who you are, you will fail one time or another before you die. Now, it depends how you move on from that failure, learn from that failure, to be a better person later on in life. That is the definition of progress and adaptation. Without adaptation and progress you will fail. The definition of failure is the lack of success, action or state of not functioning, or the omission of expected or required behavior. I was now a Junior in high school with more ability, strength, determination, and a chip on my shoulder for the events that took place the year before. Therefore we begun our season early and it was lights out from the beginning. Occasionally, a bump in the road or a loss but I was going to work on the field and dealing left and right. The next big rival game was against another local team, the Union Redskins. I was tasked with going in the last two innings and closing the door on their last two chances to tie the game or go ahead for the win. Those last two innings went without a hitch and we had beat the Union Redskins. This wasn't the state championship but it was a big win in my book because I did not let past failures occur over

It was spring, and the weather was just right for softball season. Friday night, the big stadium lights were shining right down on us. We were actually here I thought to myself we really made it this far. My softball team and I were playing for a chance to go to the state tournament, which was something unexpected coming from a team that was never ranked in pre-season or throughout district but until now. Throughout our season we lost two games against a team that was good, but also had a lot of cockiness. San Rayburn was that team, and it so happened to be the team that we had to play to go to the state tournament as well.…

For some people it takes forever to figure out that failure is not always a bad thing, while at the time it may seem like the end of the world. “We are all potentially capable of any human act.” (Roth 39). Even the most successful of people have failed at something at least once in their lives. Maybe consider though, that failure was what brought them back up to the best, hardest working person that they could be and it did not take long for them to retrieve what they had lost and made it ten times better!…

Failure should be accepted as a part of the growing process, another way for young people to explore and find the right path. Zinsser says that this will help to inspire more free thinking and nonconformity that inspired people like Thomas Jefferson and Henry David Thoreau. Failure should be embraced rather than feared and individualism should be something to strive for.…

According to Roger Von Oech, the author of “ToErr IsWrong”,shows us at least two reasons about failure. The most common aftermath that a human being must face in life is their failure. There are two types of failures, errors and mistakes. The most important thing is how we learn and are able to benefit from our previous failures. I agree with Von Oech that having mistakes, errors and failures are necessary. If people who can handle failures in a positive way. This will lead people successful in their future life. On the other hand, if who handle, errors, mistake and failures in a negative way. This will be painful and not attended with future success.…

What is failure? Is it being told by some else that you aren’t good enough for a part? Is it studying so hard and long for a test and not getting the grade you hoped you would receive? Is it putting you all in to a college application and not getting into your first pick? According to “Webster Dictionary” failure is a lack of success. Something that most of us can relate to in one moment of your lives for one reason or another.…

This is probably the part where you see someone put a cliché quote that inspires them, but I’m going to jump right into this. The value of failure is something you should learn in life, because failure can teach you a new mentality to do things, like working hard and trying to get better or quitting because someone can’t deal with failure.…

It was game day the field was rough and dry the goals were painted yellow, the burning hot sun was shining off our helmets. The team practiced so hard for this game it was the game that everyone wanted to see. It was only five bucks to get in. the coaches called all the players out on the intercom for the pre game meal, we were having some watermelon and some chicken and a potato it was very good. The chicken was the best. we started warming up when coach had called us down to the field. We had went over some offense and defense. When defense had went out on the field, we had worked on some pass blocks and some blitz plays. In my opinion pass block was my favorite. Everyone's pads was tied tight, cleats were wrapped with white tape, chin straps…

Failure, when pertaining to human achievement is the act of not reaching success. Failure, though, in its own right is just an idea because as Winston Churchill once said, “ Success is not final, failure is not final; it is the courage to continue that counts.” This is a lesson I learned at the end of my freshman year of high school. Freshman year wasn’t my best year academically, athletically, or socially. I wasn’t specifically failing in any of those areas, but I released at the end of year how strikingly mundane I had been when I thought I should have been exceling. I beat myself up, considering anything less than my expectations a failure. I wanted to give up and not care. The weird thing is though, is that this mishap I had didn’t detour…

My experience with failure came with athletics. For my whole life I have always been involved in sports like soccer, tennis, basketball. When I was in the fourth grade I joined a swim team and that was the first and really only sport that I stuck with; swimming came naturally to me, and it was something that I could do year round and I loved every minute of it. However, once I was in high school I stopped swimming and joined my high school’s cross country team. My dad was a runner all throughout high school so I thought it would be a good idea to give the sport my father loved a chance. The cross country team allowed me to grow, and I learned things about myself including that fact that I can’t run. It’s not that I can’t physically run, I have…

I believe that the American Dream is something that people can still achieve. Although it isn’t something that you can grab however, and perchase. Indeed you have to earn it. You may fail before accomplishing the American Dream. Just because you fail doesn’t mean you can’t accomplish your dream you can always try something different and still be successful. However, don’t let anyone or anybody destroy your dream or ever tell you that your not going to amount to anything because that’s not true. I can refer to this beacause Bill Gates and President Barack Obama is an prime example of the American Dream. Barack Obama didn’t have that problem he believe his teachers and family told him that he would be successful. On the other hand Bill Gates did kids at school criticized and laughed at him calling him dreadful names. But that did not stop Gates from accomplishing his dream. He kept pursuing his dream and at the end of the day when it was all said and done Bill Gates became successful.…

“I only mean that failure isn’t bad in itself, or success automatically good.” Zinsser stated in passage about failing. Success should not be measured by what one has done, but what you can change in yourself, others, and failures. Success could be found in Steve Jobs. Steve Jobs was fired from apple in the late 1980 s, and later created other graphic design companies. He also dropped out of college, and continued on to fulfill his dreams. There is a middle in between failing and succeeding. That middle is where you look back at what you failed at doing, and transform that failure into success.…
