Day In The Life Of Klaus Mikaelson
I, Klaus Mikaelson, has once again been revived to present myself as a vindictive being. Yet again, I wake up finding myself lying on a red velvet sheet but my surroundings are only bound to a few meters as this rectangular box doesn’t allow more than that. Yes, I’ve been awakened. Moreover as a vampire whose lust for blood never ends. I am the Original vampire and I’ve lived for more than 1000 years. I and my two siblings, Rebecca Mikaelson and Elijah Mikaelson, are the only living Original vampires that cease to exist till date. But my story doesn’t stop there, Im also half werewolf which makes me a hybrid. Im quite different from my siblings, so indifferent that my very existence makes my father want to kill me. He’s been obstinate on hunting me down as long as I remember. Yet, I call him ‘father’.
As I walk down the busy street of New Orleans, I can sense the nervous glares and hear the murmuring voices, all because the horror of their lives, walks down the street right before their eyes. My over powering and petrifying aura helps me remain the ruler of my homeland. I don’t just like power, I crave for it, for it is something that belongs to none other than me. Im known to be a merciless murderer and even worse but I don’t regret the things I do, which is why I now stand here above them all, the most powerful and overwhelming, Klaus Mikaelson. I head to meet Marcel, my former protégé, in the patio of my ‘real’ home, where now all the newly formed vampires rest safely. I still need to find the stone that can help me make those daylight rings that will allow these newfangled vampires out in the sun. Right now only I and Marcel can go out during the day without having to be worried about anything as im a hybrid and Marcel is a vampire who lives thanks to my hybrid blood. After I supply blood to these vampires, I take my leave to meet Hayley, the mother of my unborn child who’s a werewolf making my child a hybrid as well, and my wise brother, Elijah whom I’ve

Christopher Beam’s theory of Vampires is similar to Del Toro and Hogan’s piece of “why Vampires Never Die”. All three theorize that the main purpose of Vampires is to have an intelligent monster that is able to think and adapt to modern times. Most monsters want to kill and destroy everything in sight. Vampires are a different type of monster. As Del Toro and Hogan state, “…the Vampire does not seek to obliterate us, but instead offers a peculiar brand of blood alchemy”. This can be interpreted as the Vampire trying to welcome us into their special world of blood lust. A way that the Vampire welcomes us, is by describing their special abilities and powers. Christopher Beam validates this thinking by stating, “Vampires … are the biggest…

The Holocaust, which started on January 30, 1933 was when Hitler and The Nazi’s took over Germany and tried to kill all the Jews. They would take the Jews from their homes and bring them to work or concentration camps where they would work them to death or kill them if they didn’t think they were useful. There was also other things Germans did with the Jews, like Josef Mengele was a worker at Auschwitz (one of the camps) and he would do medical experiments on Jews. The Holocaust was twelve years long, and many died. It finally ended on May 8th of 1945 and when it did all the remaining Jews were released from the camps. Some are still alive but scarred for life because of the tragic events they went through. Josef Mengele was one of the scariest people to the Jews at Auschwitz, during the Holocaust.…

The main question raised in the One Day in Jozefow: Initiation to Mass Murder article is that of how did the Nazis get the manpower and successfully eliminate so many Polish Jews in a mere matter of eleven months. What is found is that the Nazis did not actually use real military force to clear the ghettos. When they were given orders leaders did not have enough men to successfully clear ghettos therefore they turned to normal everyday Polish police. They also gathered prisoners of war who were from places like the Ukraine and Lithuania. The Nazis also took order police who were stationed in the German government. This gave them the numbers they were so lacking and that were vital to them to take on their orders.…

Since the eighteen century, vampire stories have played a strong role of popularity in literature and cinematic environments. The continuous changes of vampires have taken the vampire legend from something feared to something desired. Between Dracula and Twilight it has been over a hundred years. These two novels are a great example of vampire’s evolution. However, both novels have elements of narrative device, they are both written from multiple perspectives, and both were turned into a film. Although Twilight and Dracula are pieces of literature that share a vampire story, there are three important differences that characterize each one.…

The concept of “vampires” is present in Brave New World because the men and women don’t respect each other in the area of romance. Men like Henry Foster just use girls like Lenina for sex. But having sex with multiple people is socially accepted in the World State. In Brave New World, symbolic vampirism is used because the men and women use each other to get what they want which is sex. They do not care about what the other person wants. An example is Lenina trying to seduce John, when he makes it clear he does not just want to have sex with her. John is the opposite of the men from the World State because when he was thinking about how pretty she was he told himself that it was a “destestable thought” (145).…

When Van Helsing instructs the occidental vampire hunters about the gnostic powers of the Count in Bram Stoker’s Dracula (1897), he also announces the primary liminal premise of the occult: no demon can “enter anywhere at first, unless there be some one of the household who bid him to come; though afterwards he can come as he please” (18:308). In other words, an “evil” spirit cannot cross a threshold unless first invited by an indweller, just as Dracula understands above that no “innocent” outdweller can be forced unwillingly to cross a demon’s threshold. Each must voluntarily and chiastically “unite onself with a new world” as Stoker’s contemporary Arnold van Gennep puts it – that is, accept the other in what another contemporary, H. Clay Trumbull, calls “the covenant of union”…

I have gone through a lot of things in my life. Many people would not believe so, as I am a pretty blessed child with my father the king, my mother the queen, and me of course, the prince. My life really started to go downhill when my father passed away. Wait, he did not just “pass away”, he got murdered. By my uncle. Why you may ask? Well I’m not too sure. It probably had to do with the fact that now, after two months, my mother married him. He wanted the throne and to rule the town. I wanted revenge, and that is all I wanted. I started seeing ghosts and that started frightening me. I thought I was going insane. The ghost, who ended up being my father, told me to kill my uncle, to get the revenge I strived for. But I couldn’t. I wanted to be very cautious. I wasn’t really that type of person that goes around murdering people! Eventually I started to be abusive to my mother. I really regret that. But I was so mad at her for getting married to the one that killed her own husband! At this point, I accidently murdered my girlfriend’s dad, thinking that it was my disgusting brother. I realized that I was now the murderer that I never wanted to be. Her brother, of course got mad, and my uncle tried to convince him to kill me! We fought, and I thought it would be the winner. Little did I know, my uncles sword was laced with poison, and if it touched me, I’d die. I…

In this land of chaos I was neither a part of the shadows or chaos, merely a slightly tanned wraith surviving by the tip of my nails. While some of the less willed escaped with help from those on the outside or found their own release – usually from drugs or an adrenaline rush of pain from a razor to the wrist – I endured the tedious routine. For better or worse my endurance made me an even bigger target as well as if I’d thrown away the prison uniform and worn the denim clothes of the free.…

There was once a small town called Salem, it had been home to many witches, warlocks, supernatural ghosts and creatures that you would hear in many horror stories until one day all of them had been slaughtered and burnt down by the travellers who call themselves humans and settled down in this town of Salem and called it ‘Shadow valley’ which was situated in north Carolina. Centuries later, Shadow valley was like any normal town and its past histories of witches, ghosts, warlocks and so on, were long forgotten. Many of the families, who live here, were descendants of the travellers who had first settled down centuries ago. They were called to as the founding families since their great great grandfathers and grandmothers were the ones who had…

Opening the door slightly, I was greeted with a thick wall of darkness. Peering out into the inky blackness of the passageway, I tried to clam myself down to go down to the kitchen to grab some candles to light up the house. I finally felt ready to go down , as if I was fighting a war with the darkness. As I opened the door, the door seemed to come alive, making a creak sound, warning me not to go out of this room. Biting my lip, I groped around the black darkness. I quickly made my way towards the staircase. Just moments ago, I was still waving goodbye towards my parents when they went to their friends wedding party.…
