David Donald's Injury
Safety is always a major concern in any organization, employees no matter what field they are in always have to ensure that they are practicing safety measures on the job. It is very important for workers to be knowledgeable about the safety measures and concerns. For instance, employees and employers should be aware of the safety concerns and measures in the workplace. Employers can conduct safety measures seminars to educate all the parties on practicing safety in the work place. Shouldering the responsibility for an accident on the job is often a difficult conversation to have. As I critique the case, I discovered that a worker blamed his injury on the negligence of his employer. He further stated that his employer failed to replace faulty equipment that led up to his injury. On the other hand, the employer claimed that the employee was known to play around hence the responsibility wasn’t his. In this case, it should be against the law to accuse an injured employee of his injury on the job.

Explanation of the Issue
The manager of the company David Donald has some tough decisions to make. John Schmidt was employed at The Production Shop.

In deciding on who is to take responsibility for the faulty equipment, this could fall on the manufacturer of the saw, the general inspector as well as the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
