What You Need to Know About the SAT Reasoning Test
Structure of the Test
The SAT Reasoning Test measures critical thinking skills in three areas: Critical Reading, Math, and Writing. This workbook helps you to prepare for the Critical Reading and Writing sections of the test.

The Critical Reading section measures how well you read sentences, paragraphs, and longer passages. The Writing section measures how well you correct errors, improve sentences and paragraphs, and compose an essay. The chart shows the number of questions in each section. All questions, except the essay, are multiple-choice.
