Five interesting points that impressed me about this video:
Dabaab is the largest refugee camp in the world.
Hunger is a global epidemic. About 800 million people are hungry in the world. 18 million of the 800 million live in North America, Europe, and Australia.
Hunger is actually a logistic problem. 1/3 of the food that is produced in the whole world is wasted. The food lost in Africa could feed around 49 million people.
Sub-Saharan Africa loses about 30 to 40 percent of their crops after harvesting due to insects, rodents, rain, and/or mold.
The World Food Program has provided farmers with more durable silos which are made up of metal and plastic.
