Basic needs such as eating, drinking and shelter, which are defined as physiological needs, form the basis of human needs. For a healthy and balanced living, one has to consume basic food products, which fresh fruit and vegetables are a part of it.
There has recently been an increase in the share of fresh products in consumer food product spending and consumption patterns. This trend is partly due to the fact that the consumer has become more sensitive towards health issues. In recent years, organic products have attracted a steadily growing number of consumers because of health, environmental or food security reasons.
Organic vegetables, also referred to as organics, is vegetables grown under a production system that, in addition to the avoidance of synthetic chemicals, also promotes soil health, biodiversity, low stress treatment of animals and sound environmental practices.
Nowadays consumer are very concern and aware about the environments including about the foods which they consume. Healthy is the first issue which affect organic vegetables product. So the demand are growing for the certain market that really aware about their body and health. The Demographic Profile that consume the organic vegetables are mentioned as below on the figure 1.
As we seen in the figure 1 , we doing survey in total 30 people and the result shows that 87% people who consume organic vegetable are female, separated by gender. From education level shows that 94% people who consume organic vegetable are from Strata 1. It shows from the sample that female are more aware and concern about the healthy organic food and most of them has strata 1 in education level or under graduate as their last...
