Cultural Intelligence Self Assessments
1. Each of the four sections' averages. The four sections are:
1. Metacognitive (strategy) elements of Cultural Intelligence. These are questions 1-4. Average their scores and report.
My average Metacognitive Score is: 5.3
One of the reasons I think I scored 5.3 in the metacognitive is the experience I have dealing with other cultures for my job. I try to learn and respect other cultures I interact with since this chapter and understanding how other cultures see the U.S I feel like I am com conscious of my interactions.
2. Cognitive (knowledge) elements of Cultural Intelligence. These are questions 5-10. Average their scores and report.
My average cognitive Score is: 4.2
The reason for my score is so low in this section is my knowledge of other cultures and beliefs. I understand more now

I enjoy my interactions with them. I have learned in most of the dealings that I need to be more patient and speak in more global terms to get my point across. With reading this chapter, I defiantly need to understand more on dealing with the implicit cultures method to be more successful.
4. Behavioral (action) elements of Cultural Intelligence. These are questions 16-20. Average their scores and report.
My average Behavioral Score is: 5.4
My experience with speaking to different cultures I have noticed varying my rate of speaking helps me chose my word wiser to communicate better. Understanding the pauses the person I am speaking with and mine as well helps the conversation run smoother. My downfall is my lack of controlling my facial expressions. This is something I need to work on, I am thankful that most of my interactions at this point have been through Skype.
2. Now, add up those above 4 scores and divide by 4 to get your average. This is your overall Cultural Intelligence Score. Report that here.
My Cultural Intelligence Score is:

    The Wonderlic Test

    • 1645 Words
    • 5 Pages

The psychometric assessment test I evaluated for this project is the Wonderlic Cognitive Ability Test. This test is a popular intelligence test used to assess the aptitude of prospective employees for learning and problem solving in a range of occupations. A man named Eldon F. Wonderlic originally created the test in 1936 and throughout the years alterations and new versions of the test have been created. The test is actually quite simple; the participant is required to answer 50 multiple-choice questions in just 12 minutes in a written or online format. When the test is complete the score you receive is simply the number of questions you got right. If the 12-minute time limit runs out before completing all 50 questions any question not answered will be considered incorrect. A score of 20 would indicate average intelligence, while a score of 10 suggests literacy. The test has become very popular due to the fact that the NFL uses this test for all incoming rookies prior to the NFL Draft.…
